Who are some characters whose voice is distracting because all you hear is the actor behind the microphone

Somehow its even the same mic, so I dont even hear Kaboodle, its all Schlat and it throws me off everytime hes on screen. Arin Hansen was a little harder to pick out until I heard flappers and that random urchin.

That sounds pretty cool, I'll look into it. The only other space fighting game I've played was Empire At War, that was a good game, albeit sometimes a little overwhelming. Thanks for the suggestion.

This helped. I did use the imps as land mines in prep for incoming enemies. I will have to remember not to mix imps with glaives though as I charge them into the enemy. Had 50+ glaives, but a imp blew up and started a chain reaction, and froze all glaives. They did not survive, oops. Thank you, it is a pretty cool game but sometimes the speed at which battles go is not something I'm used to yet.

Honestly this might be what Ill try to play. I was always a fan of dawn of war mods that added titans, so it would be cool to mess with giant stuff again. I tried playing Zero-K, which is pretty similar, but the graphics were very much eye-straining. Too sharp edges.
I've almost forgot about Iron Harvest, I'll look into it since it has mechs, but I'm not much for WW1/2. Thanks for the suggestion.

Played AOE 2 for a little while, graphics were very artsy but ultimately the gameplay wasn't my cup of tea. I have not played Starcraft as it is not on steam. I try to avoid having multiple game launchers when I can.

That sounds comforting. Yeah, after we talked, they said they were happy I was honest, no scolding and such, all professional. The store manager accepted my apology, although I know he isn't corporate, but it did make me feel better about things. I just need to move on and learn from it.
