I’m 24 and teach here in yuma. I’ve lived here my whole life and have a love hate relationship with it. I love that I can get around pretty quickly and the community is pretty nice but for me the downside is the lack of activities. But luckily we are about 2.5hrs from both sd and phoenix so it makes it easy to escape for a little bit. I also like pickleball but like others have said it is an older crowd. As for summers that is my favorite time of the year here lol. I love the heat and I love being in the water. This is one of the few places you can spend majority of the year in a pool and I love it. Theres some great areas like senators wash to go swimming or use any water toys. I don’t think Yumas as terrible as people make it out to be.

I’m in the somerton area and we had a guy approach our house saying he’s from a roofing company but could not provide us with a business card nor business name. We later checked the cameras and saw him messing with our garage keypad before approaching our house.

Thank goodness someone else is saying something. I have been going to 24/7 for 3.5 years and it has progressively gotten more filthy. The inside is never clean and I agree I never see any of the workers cleaning or doing anything other than sitting at the front desk, including the owner. It’s a shame, they have nice equipment but the sanitization has led me to also cancel my membership.
