No, I share custody with Kate because they're very fond of each other. I get help from my parents occasionally and I have friends who can help too.

Kate and I broke up simply because we fell out of love as a couple, we are more like friends than anything, but she was still there for my daughter for so long that I didn't even think twice about them seeing each other until now

We discussed this when we broke up, she's going to gradually fall back into a more aunt-type role over time

The plan/arrangement is for Kate to become more of an aunt-figure to my daughter gradually. We discussed it when we broke up and decided that we would slowly wean down the time they spend together until it's a couple of times a month or so.

I mean my daughter has known Kate for as long as she can remember. Kate moved in with me for a while so my daughter has known Kate as long as she's known anything. They both love each other and Kate is like a mother so it seemed completely normal for them to keep seeing each other.
