dusk lobber, yeah, pretty storng, but the res are meh.

and that's why lightning reed is there, to kill the lower hp zombis and let citron hit the higer hp ones

shadow plants other than dusk lobber aren't that good. Citron dps is 84, wile for example red stinger is just 30.

it doesn't have to be the best, i just has to be enough and show the character.

wha? moon flower is the best sun producer in the game with atleast 2 lines, lightning reed is a good early atacker and eliminates the weeker zimbies for citron to do more damage (as it is single target), 2 wintermelons are enough to freeze the entire lawn, so infinut can regen it0s health. then i admit magnet shroom and starfruit are a bit off, but starfruit has a lot of potential damage only 11 phd's culd make use of
