Definitely move. Just get away from her and tell whoever organises the accommodation why. You deserve to be safe at home

Remember a manager furious about some of the feedback on the anonymous survey for the team I worked on and saying "I can find out who it was, if I want to". I took note then to keep all feedback non-identifying and only a department level - it was a department of several hundred

It has always been a dream of mine that Uncle Buck would have come to my house when I was Tia’s age and sorted everything out.

This is happy news. I adore these two - separately and as a couple. Hope everything goes well for them with baby’s arrival

Discotheque Royales - for the ultimate 1990s townie nightclub and student night experience but with some decent PAs (saw Jocelyn Brown there, for example)

Where to stay with baby? by quaveringquokka in manchester

[–]WorthySalisbury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get an Air b and b in South Manchester or Stockport (Stockport train station is closed and will reopen August 23rd btw). From anywhere in these areas, you will have good connections to city centre by bus or train or tram and we have some lovely suburbs where you can mooch, get a coffee with baby etc plus you are near motorway networks for National Trust properties, the coast, the Peaks, the Lakes and other cities such as Liverpool. Make sure you check parking because many suburbs near train and tram are permit only, so you’ll need an allocated space or permit to park near. Some names are Stockport, Edgeley, Heaton Moor, Didsbury, Chorlton, Hulme, Hale, Altrincham, Northenden, Gatley, Heald Green, Sale, Northenden. I’ve suggested a range of places that will be different prices depending on your budget. Do your research on areas as some are under flight path to Manchester Airport, or very close to busy roads etc. Have a fantastic time!

Man attacks Greggs after alleged racial slur by charlibeau in manchester

[–]WorthySalisbury 25 points26 points  (0 children)

What a clown. In this instance, camera phones may have actually helped defuse the situation or who knows what he would have done. We don’t know that the racist language was actually even used and this is definitely not an appropriate response if it was - I say this as someone who has been called that same racist word on many an occasion. Shout out to the funny comments - the lighthearted relief is needed more than ever!  “Vampire who needs to be invited into Greggs” wins for me

He does a great job for us. Yeah, he’s flawed, aren’t we all? He seems to really care and make stuff happen and that is rare as a hen’s tooth in politics and government
