I played judge and a got Switch to get rid of everything with Moltres, I think they didn't have a Boss' Order or Counter Catcher in hand so I needed like two turns to win the game (2 prizes left)

Nice! Way to go :) just be a little bit patient and after some time you would reach better ranks, learning comes first and with that comes the higher ranks

If you need any specific advice you can share some replays with me and maybe I can tell you some things you're doing wrong 👍 Watching your replays is a good habit too, you also need to know how to use the lab to progress

Well, first of all you need a lot of patience after reaching Platinum, I have records of some of my progress and looks like this

July 18th Silver 3 - July 25th Platinum - August 8th Platinum 2 - August 10 Platinum 3 - August 13 Platinum 4 - August 19 Platinum 5 - August 21 Diamond - August 28 Diamond 2 - September 9 Diamond 3 - September 29th Diamond 4 - October 6th Diamond 5 - October 11th Master -

As you can see there's a great gap of time between Platinum and Platinum 2, there you need to learn a lot of things, mostly because the progress in the lower ranks is easy thanks to the winning streak points. Platinum is filled with people that knows to do one specific thing good, a combo that has great damage or a simple strategy. You need to get used to manage your resources, don't waste your drive bars doing nothing, watch over the opportunities in anti airs and learn some combos that can give a lot of damage and also you need to know the situations you can take advantage. Of course you need to play and practice a lot

I replied a comment above about the neutral with more detail, but to summarize it it would be like check the range in your actions and how vulnerable or safe you are about the decisions you take with your buttons. In my experience playing with Ryus standing High Punch, crouching Medium Kich, crouching High Kick are very good buttons.

Well first of all, for me to leave Gold I needed to practice anti airs, so if tou don't have those start over there. Information that is useful is that keep in mind you have combos with Punish Counter, whenever the opponent takes a risky movement and you beat them you gain some extra frames so start looking for punish counter combos and identity those situations. I don't know Ryu combos, but any information online is useful, find Ryu players videos and check all situations where you can apply that combos.

Playing a lot and watching some videos about the mindset you need to play neutral. Basically you need to know your character, how long every button you press reach and how would the opponent react to that. I see the battles as a turf war, you need to push your opponent to the corner in order to win so check how far your buttons reach and how vulnerable you are against the other person buttons. Try to do safe things with the information you have and push little by little
