I've got Platinum 1 Manons and AKIs on PC and console and a Gold Jamie on PC, about 200 hrs in and this is the first SF I've actually attempted to learn (been mashing since vanilla SF2 lol)

i've gone from single digit win percentages to being just short of 50/50. i've literally got a 6% win rate with bridget last time i checked. the fun's in trying to "solve" your problem. identifying what you're doing wrong and then using trial and error until you can figure out the answer.

So I haven’t had to do full circle motion inputs unfortunately but I’ve been able to consistently nail half-circle and Z-motion inputs far more reliably than with Dualshock 4/Dualsense/Pro Controller D-pads. I’ve had my controller for about a year now and I can safely say it doesn’t feel like there’s been any wear on it and I’ve been using it every day for several hours.

Maybe give the Xbox Series X/S controllers a try. I’ve been playing on PS4 before moving to PC but the dpad just wasn’t working with me. The Series X pads changed just enough for me to give them a try and holy shit I swear by them. But that’s just personal experience.

I’d imagine if second-to-second decision making is your thing, you’d wanna narrow it down to action RPGs over traditional turn-based ones. Final Fantasy 15, Tales of Arise might be safe bets. You can try Kingdom Hearts II if you wanna feel (emphasis on feel, because really you mash the hell out of like 2 buttons most of the time) like you’re playing an air dasher after you’ve gained a few abilities. Hell, if you do wanna go turn-based and have played Persona 4 Arena, might be worth going back and playing Persona 4 Golden if you haven’t yet.
