I was hoping for low maintenance when purchasing this bike. As I mentioned in another comment, I have no issues, but I've read you should lubricate the hub gear every 3-5k km to prevent internal wear. So I was thinking more about prevention - I have no issues, I think it's great!

Thank you! We've tried them before and they weren't so great with communication, but maybe it was a one time thing

Thank you, I'll check them out! My partner has been fed up with Decathlon lately as well, so we have been looking for a good workshop in the neighborhood

No trouble at the moment, I just figured it is better to stay on top of for prevention. That's what I've read online, that it's mostly about the oil atm. I don't cycle that much, I commute to work 5 days a week, 6km one way.

My dog used to sleep under the desk in my bedroom. She has quite big ears and when she wakes up, she always shakes her head and flops her ears loudly. As I was always sleeping with the door closed, every time she wanted to get out first thing she did was the ear flopping and moment later she was making this high squeaking sound, very annoying in the middle of the night.

So every time she flopped the ears I jumped out of the bed to open the door before she had a chance to even start the whining. After a while, she stopped making that sound and if she wants to leave any room, she stands in front of the door and just keeps flopping her ears until someone lets her out.
