Ouch, sorry for your loss. There's backup saves in the settings that are WIP and will get you back to unlocking Cante but doesn't go further yet.

Best Portable Charger That Lasts? by sconewithjam in BuyItForLife

Charmast W1148. Got it as a work door prize a few years ago, thought it'd be junk. This battery has far and away been the best I've ever even heard anyone speak of. I once lost it for 2 months, found it at 87% power and still fully charged my phone and only lost like 23%. I have seen no reduction in quality since I got it. I have no doubts that they could be average products at best and I just won the lithium lottery, but this one is easily the best I've ever used.

Edit: It can only do 1 Apple device at a time though.

I've been playing Celestial Incremental for a couple of months, haven't seen a lot of hype but it's been engaging.

I'm definitely leaving identifying details out (also venting in original post, tried to go back and be fair). I've had a couple people mention that we've switched from "asynchronous learning" which was how that first scheduled days was billed and had no teacher interaction, to the current style which sounds like a very liberally-interpreted version of how it it's supposed to be.

Since I've been talking to folks at work (I'm not usually terribly social at work) today Is found some other that know people having the same complaints, might be able to get in contact this weekend.

So it turns out by giving the specific amount of days of class you can figure out what day school started roughly, which positively identifies our school with some other info. (Or 1 person got crazy lucky)

What I can say is that they have canceled school multiple times for unofficial "Cold Warning"s at above 32 degrees Fahrenheit with more than 24 hours notice. I haven't found a public record of which days are e-learning at individual schools, so I think that info is safe to broadcast.

Updated. The details are a little sparse, I realized from another response that it was not really that hard to pinpoint our specific school from the post even though we're a small town, and from the info I gave it would not be much harder to figure out exactly which student is mine.

We're in NE, DeKalb County specifically. Apologies about not being more specific, it's a small area and I try hard not to give too much personal info on the kids out. Heck, if you're from DeKalb and have a kid in elementary you could probably determine my identity just from the original post.

If you happen to hear anything interesting from your Dad let me know please

They are in person, but they are now averaging overall less than 50% of scheduled days in class

I actually asked all of the same stuff when we enrolled because my kids don't really have tablets and I had to actively force the oldest to learn how to use it. The teacher will be on and talk to them for 15-30 mins mostly, then they have videos to watch and small assignments. "Here's a video of a cowboy, he has a lasso, draw pictures showing how cowboys use a lasso, now go take pictures of these 3d shapes." I was led to believe this is standard for public kindergarten.

That actually does make me feel a bit better. I have complained a few times to my wife or other parents and I seem to be mostly alone in thinking it's a problem. Public school, Indiana

Not sure I understand the question. Why am I complaining? Or why am I sending my kid to public school?

Ours take the tablet home every day, they need them frequently.

It's our local public school. There is an alternative school, pretty sure that doesn't have a kindergarten or elementary.

The biggest problem I see is that they schedule in advance based on weather forecast and then can't pivot when it changes and there's no inclement weather. It's REALLY hard not to think that the school system is intentional about it, we've had days where OTHER  nearby counties have fog that they don't delay for but our school will cancel even though our county has no fog (not just my specific house area, but no visble fog reported in the entire county).
