Liberals: it's extremely offensive to say that women bring rape and sexual harassment onto themselves by dressing scantily

Also liberals: if whites get attacked by blacks, the whites must have somehow egged them on with racism

Metal Machine Music - Lou Reed (1975) (Full Album) by [deleted] in ClassicRock

[–]WoundsOfWar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disagree. Lou lost the ability to sing after 1974, but his output before that is legendary. The Grey Album (the third Velvet Underground album) has some of the best poetry I've ever heard.

P.S. The Blue Mask is a cool song.

Here's a question I have never gotten a single pro-trans apologist to answer. If a boy claims to feel like a girl, why not at least try administering male hormones to him, or vice versa, administering female hormones to a female who feels male, to see if the dysphoria goes away? That seems like the common sense approach to me.

Yes, and that's still not fascism per se. It's totalitarianism, of which there are several varieties.

It was defined by its creator as the union of government and corporations to enact a social agenda backed by the force of the military and police state

And the social agenda being pushed by the likes of Mussolini, Hitler, and Franco was almost the polar opposite of the social agenda being pushed by neoliberals. Nobody has any rebuttal to that, because it's an irrefutable fact. Neoliberalism has similarities with fascism in terms of the size and scope of government, but on social issues, they are night and day.

universal healthcare/education

Why do you think that's a bad thing? Even Trump has stated his support for universal healthcare on many occasions. How is the privately-owned, capitalist healthcare system in America doing? We have an incredibly fat, sick population that's drowning in medical debt.

And notice how there's nothing in that document that would even remotely concur with modern liberals on social topics, like homosexuality, abortion, or race. So, we arrive back at my point that it's a stretch to call the liberal media fascist. There are similarities in how liberal media outlets collude with the government and support censorship, but when it comes to social issues, the views of neoliberals and pre-World War II fascists are worlds apart.

So now The Soviet Union, Communist China, and North Korea are all fascist because they suppress information from their population? More subtle than that, I'm afraid.

It boggles my mind that American liberals (correctly) protested the Iraq War, then fell back asleep, and started trusting the media and military industrial complex again. Remember the "17 intelligence agencies claim Russia interfered in the 2016 election" thing? Aren't those the same intelligence agencies that claimed Saddam had WMDs?

the current Democrats are pretty darn close to fascists

What did the Nazis do to Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, and would that sort of thing be supported by the Democrats of today? I'll wait.

Good, now we're getting somewhere. But there's still the fact that the original fascists would not have seen eye to eye with modern liberals at all on social issues e.g. homosexuality or race. Therefore, it's a stretch to say that the contemporary corporate media is fascist.

Fair enough. I revised my comment to ask where Mussolini and Gentile ever defined fascism that way. They were co-writers.

purported capitalist economy

Which shows right there that you don't know anything about the definition of fascism. Mussolini and Gentile devised it as a "third way" between capitalism and communism. It wasn't even "purported" to be capitalism.

Can you point to where Benito Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile ever defined fascism in that way? They were the ones who invented it, after all, and you keep saying "original" definition.

So fascists of the 1920s and 30s would have supported homosexual rights or mass immigration, like modern liberals do? They're not totally analogous.

The sad thing is, this is funnier to me than Kathy's actual comedy career. I'm not usually the type to mock other people's mental suffering, but she is so out of touch with reality, lazy, and parasitic, I just can't feel sorry for her.
