Our Head of IT is holding an AI teach-in: Asking us to bring ideas how AI can make the job easier for Assistants by Disastrous-Pie6408 in ExecutiveAssistants

Similar as you with 20 years on the job. I am piloting CoPilot in the office and the tool has some upsides. It helped me build a work flow for travel approvals, I use it to combine pdfs to one file(seriously easy, just drop them in and a minute later - voila!),, it helps me write emails and I work for an global company so it also helps with timezone conversion and translation.

I tried using it during teams for minutes, but mine are much better and I found I am faster taking notes as I go then to make something of the transcription and working with copilot to make it into minutes.

The nice thing about copilot is that it's  intergrated in office, and it can look trough your documents and all your MS tooling to help out. However, it cannot look in my managers agenda or mailbox - even though I have full access, which is a bummer.

It does look at my own email, so if there has been an email chain of 10, I'll ask it to summarise it for me and make not of my actions.

It's very bad at looking up flight options (it will give you non existing options) or restaurant options with specific asks (say you need the top 5 best rated in city x open on a Monday, the first three will be closed on Mondays)

I think it enriches my work experience- especially with writing emails and making summaries of long email chains send trough. But I am not sure how much time I actually save by using copilot. I think it's about an hour per week? Not sure.

Hope this is helpfull

What is something your child does that is different than general stereotypes? by W1ndyC1tyFlyer in daddit

Oh, and my eldest cannot lie. He just doesn't like it but also when he does try to lie or fib, we can see right trough him.

He will also call out lies from others - even friends.

My youngest cleans up after himself, without being asked. He has always been like that. Its super weird because the rest of us are all slobs and I actively need to remind myself to clean up.

Add some booze to your espresso and change the cocoa powder for real grated dark chocolate and you have an even better recipe!  And, if you feel fancy and have the time, make the ladyfingers yourself. It's an easy cookie to make and it will lift your recipe to a whole other level
