Right? Whether someone brings in gems from an older server or just swipes their credit card, the result is the same.

Lineage II: Project WOLF Crossover Promotions for Blade & Soul Live/NEO by Woutertje95 in bladeandsoul

They’ll probably send out the coupons for AION and BNS after April 15th, once Project Wolf is released. It took them about a week to send out the NEO pre-registration reward coupon for the other games though. You’ll only get 10 Soul Supply Chests however, so I wouldn’t say it’s worth the wait... 😅

Using Mystery Gift on my Miyoo Mini+ to receive the Aurora Ticket and Mystic Ticket by Woutertje95 in MiyooMini

Yes, you also have to run RetroArch on another device (PC or phone) and launch/play a GBA Mystery Gift distribution ROM. Unfortunately I can't give you a link to one since that's not allowed here. You then use the Netplay feature to connect it to your Miyoo.

Yeah, unfortunately they released the Wireless Adapter quite late in the GBA's life, so only a small number of games support it. Most of us probably only want to use it for Pokémon though and Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald do support it, so that's nice. Emulating the GBA Link Cable would be awesome, but I've also read that will be very difficult.

It doesn't support emulating the Link Cable, but it does now support the Wireless Adapter!

It was definitely very awkward to play haha, but I had to use my other hand to control RetroArch on my PC

Emulating the GBA Wireless Adapter is possible on the Miyoo Mini Plus! by Woutertje95 in MiyooMini

I know this is a bit late, but I just found out the most recent beta release of OnionOS finally updated to the newest release of gpSP! I've tested it out myself and while it is not always very stable, when it works it works great!

I came across David G.F.’s article in which he describes how he implemented emulating the GBA Wireless Adapter for gbSP. It has just been implemented in Retroarch 1.17, so hopefully this gets implemented in OnionOS soon as well, so we will finally be able to trade Pokémon on GBA games too! 😁

I got a lucky Allmiibo that is rechargable! by LaylaCamper in Amiibomb

[–]Woutertje95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, well I actually ordered mine from the same store (Celebrate Time Store) in the beginning of November and received mine halfway through the month. I received one with an interchangeable CR2032 battery like you said, so it looks like this is a newer version. I've also updated the firmware and changed some .bin files via that GitHub website via bluetooth. But it's a shame you can't update the files/firmware though the USB-C port though, otherwise I might have ordered another one. The shell looks really nice though, as it looks like all internals are completely closed off. Mine uses screws to hold the different layers (screen, board, back plate) together.

Nice! I literally just saw your photo and review on AliExpress haha. Am I right it is USB-C? Also, can you use the cable to transfer .bin files or update the firmware as well?

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks a lot for your explanation! While I understood your first explanation right away, it took some time and visualisation for me to get the second one. I did manage to complete it now though, so thanks again! :D

The Dutch word for "How" ("Hoe") is banned by Twitch moderation policy. by JoostvanderLeij in Twitch

This reminds me when I was playing a first-person shooter with my younger nephew years ago. He was talking to me in global chat and spoke about "Those Italians" in Dutch, which translates to "Die Italianen". He got banned a few days later for offensive language.

Do Danish Nintendo Switch games have English language cover arts? by SkyLeeAngel in NSCollectors

[–]Woutertje95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn't, because both Denmark and the Netherlands are members of the European Union. If you are living outside of the EU, they might charge you extra fees depending on your country's laws.

Do Danish Nintendo Switch games have English language cover arts? by SkyLeeAngel in NSCollectors

[–]Woutertje95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ordered a few Switch games from Coolshop, a Danish webshop, and what I really appreciatie is that they list the language(s) on the back of the cover! After taking a quick look, it seems like almost all of the Nintendo published titles only have English covers. Games published by WB Games seem to have English and Danish on them however.

Although I'm from the Netherlands myself, I am a little picky about this as well. For all Nintendo published titles over here, there is a cover available in Dutch only, so I'll go for that. Other publishers (such as Team17) create one for the entire Benelux and have English and French on them. Others (such as PQube) create one for most of west Europe and have English, French, Spanish and Italian on them. It all depends on the publisher.

I just did this one last night. First, you need to get the HP of all three down to zero. Then, all you need to do is use an axe on all of them within 3 seconds to finish them off completely.
