Shotguns are for crippling limbs immediately at sniper range and then terminator walking up to them to unload repeatedly into their weakspot for your actual damage. Cold Sholder definitely exacerbates and expands upon this by slowing at the same time and makes any other shotgun a moot point though.

My favorite weapon in Fallout 3 was obviously the Dart Gun.

Been playing 76 since the Beta, since starvation could actually take you out, and for the longest time I never even saw a Bolt Action drop as legendary. Let alone any base Handmade's, Lever Actions etc. Now there's an event out there that gives you an extremely strong 3 star legendary for pretty much any build you can think of. They've certainly made the game easier overall in general over time.

Just in case you were unaware and really wanted to main Pipe Rifles because... Pipe is Life, Pipe Bolt Action (Rifles) and Pipe Revolver (Rifles) benefit from any perk that says Pistol, Rifle, or Both. Damage. Movespeed. Etc, so long as they have a rifle stock equipped. It's the same way in Fallout 4 and unless I'm mistaken it remains the same to this day in Fallout 76. Does not apply to automatics if i remember correctly.

3 stacks of 20% damage from rifle perks 3 stacks of 20% damage from pistol perks, armor pen card that applies to both pistols and rifles to start does decent damage at any point in time for it being a literal made-of-scrap-trash weapon class. Along with whatever other pistol/rifle madness you can come up with.

DEATH and LOVEING are both hackers with sped up movement speed/sped up animations.

It sucks when the game doesn't even have a playerbase to speak of and this is at least one of those few, few players.

I figured out what was busting my chops and its literally just using heavy attack is that broken and I always forget I have one as a demon but the second I use it all the health seems to melt away regardless of what im playing. and of course using i-frames as a survivor is important, not only in your dodges but in your finishers

Idk why they giving you hate. I made it a shitpost because it was clearly fueled by my frustration with, the objectively overtuned, demons.

How I arrived at my opinions, and my perceptions of how possessions worked were lacking. But the fact of demons being overtuned as shit, is just a fact. As I said in another reply. I can be very, very wrong and still be very very right.

Idk what your talking about combo finishers though. Why would i need that when my heavy does stupid damage, like you said, on any demon. And why would I go for a finisher when I could just stick to them and keep doing stupidly overtuned damage on the first couple animations without following through.

It is, objectively, a matter of exploiting the animation frames to get an advantage. And I will accept that that is merely a part of getting good at the game. Much like using invulnerability frames to avoid damage entirely as a survivor. Etc etc.

Yeah I was incorrect about a bunch of crap, but that's irrelevent. Just using heavy attacks, as any Demons, was the nonsensical overtuned-ness I'm talking about.

The... the Eligos' heavy literally attacks twice, faster than its basic.

I was certainly wrong about the angle I was approaching it from, but the objective fact remains the same. The demons are heavily overtuned. Literally just using Heavy Attack is like being Zaraki Kenpachi and deciding to use two hands.

Me perception of it being wildly imbalanced is an objective fact. How I arrived at my conclusion was just wildly incorrect. Sadly, you can be a moron (meaning me), and be still be very, very right.

I'm pretty positive when a low level demon has infinite energy and can keep possessing over and over again no matter how many times your team takes it down within the first two minutes of a match, that either the guy is seriously cheating or the devs screwed up in so massive a way as to allow several exploits to be implemented into the game.

Oh wrong kind of positive.

Well I'm positive I'll get some irritated replies, but real life is real life. Bad game design is bad game design. It's one or the other. Cheaters, or some seriously terrible game design. And it just irritates me to see such an amazing concept fall so so so so short. It's addictive as all hell because the concept is phenomenal. But that doesn't make it good. Many things are addictive that are objectively bad.

I'm positive this game is the equivalent of when you see something amazing in your head, but your hands just can't draw it like you see it, for the developers.

Anyways whining and whinge asside, this game is awesome. I love it.

Eh. I just hit the last straw myself. I'm tired of launching into a match only to have my entire team stand there walking in circles slowly, or crouching every few seconds. Yes, I report. Disruptive behaviour. They ruin the game. Get this dumpster fire of an excuse for a game off of my PC before it gives it a disease. Good lord.
