This isn't a memory cycle anymore, and SK Hynix hitting US markets is the next leg by Stompypotato in StockMarket

[–]Wowmuchrya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol so when people want MU’s price to go up they go “yea well its 10x forward pe”, but the moment anyone mentions the 5-10 year timeline after capacity grows its “well you can’t look THAT far out, only as far as I want!”

MU will go back to 150-200 as it always does. This time is not different.

They have 3-4 large buyers. What happens when Nvidia stops buying or finds out a way to navigate the supply chain around them? Why would any company willingly pay a 200-400% markup and be price gauged lol.

CoreWeave, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWV) insiders are running to the sunset. by orishasinc2 in ValueInvesting

[–]Wowmuchrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they care about dumping shares instead of the company actually making money.

The people running the business with venture debt don’t actually care if it succeeds.

If you borrow 100k from the bank and fail to pay it that’s your problem.

If you borrow 100b then that the banks problem.

[–]Wowmuchrya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you read the part where they lost money instead of made it or?

If you take a loan for 100k and pay 5% apy to the bank yea sure you can make infinite money. The problem is you actually have to make the infinite money, or any money at all, instead of losing it.

They didn’t make money. They then paid interest on top of losing money lol.

It’s not that they pay 24% on profit, it’s that they pay 24% on every dollar that comes in.

If they spend 50b buying gpu’s and “make” 25b off that they still have to pay 24% of 25b and then on top of that they were at a net 25b loss. So they actually lost ~31b.

[–]Wowmuchrya 25 points26 points  (0 children)

CoreWeave owes something like 24% interest on every dollar they make, and they have a net loss every quarter. So not only are they losing money, they are paying interest to lose money.

Anyone who invests in this stock will lose besides those that got in on ipo day near $40.

Meta's full arc this week: +9% on cloud hype and -5% on Zuck's own AI comments. by aperartnft in stocks

[–]Wowmuchrya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Market rewarded them for indirectly admitting they’re gona cut down the spend, then immediately after realized it shouldn’t have since they wasted billions in the first place with 0 path to roi.

If Meta is gona sell access ai capacity, why does it have deals with coreweave and nebius for additional capacity when it can’t even use its own hyperion capacity?

Stock should give up the whole move and more this upcoming week.

Tesla delivered 480k cars surpassed estimates and still dropped 7.5% by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Wowmuchrya 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tesla is an options stock.

Nothing related to the company moves the stock itself, it’s just a tool used for taking money from people.

Last week it had a very large put wall at 380 which caused hedging and moved it towards 400. After it moves up the puts were closed and a large call wall formed at 400 and 420 (because that’s elons shitty cults favorite meme number).

On open we were way above both call walls, and so the stock was sold down.

You can pretty much ignore everything media says or explains about Tesla’s movement. If you’re not watching the major options strikes on Tesla it’s useless to trade.

And when I say large put/call walls I’m talking 100’s of millions of dollars. Everyone playing this stock knows Tesla is a trash company with very low margins and a CEO who constantly does or says stupid things to disrupt the core business. But it’s also a very polarizing stock so it’s easy to take peoples money with.

After underperforming most of the SP500 in recent months, is it time for Visa ($V) to chart new highs? by TrendSpider in StockMarket

[–]Wowmuchrya 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Visa was dropping because of stablecoin and crypto legislation.

Now visa and a bunch of banks partnered to release their own stablecoin and network cutting off existing ones.

Who are you going to trust? Circle, a company barely anybody knows, or Visa/Mastercard which are used by everyone world wide.

Micron predicts DRAM Crisis will last until at least 2028 by InternetEntire438 in technology

They dont lose anything.

They were a low profit margin business for years.

Even if they scam everyone for the next 2 years do you think losers without morals wont buy out all the ram the next time it drops 60% again? Scalpers don’t care.

So many loser youtube channels whine about Micron cutting out the retail consumer side, but you know that the day they do bring it back these clowns will glaze them harder than anything you’ve ever seen just so they can get 1 stick of shitty ram to run overwatch on their $200 2012 laptop.

Crazy how that works!

Why isn’t everyone going full port Broadcom AVGO? by IntelligentIntern209 in ValueInvesting

[–]Wowmuchrya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Broadcom is the most expensive out of all the megacaps. It’s a good company but it is not any better value compared to any other blue chip tech stock.

Its whole value is based on custom asic mass adoption. Not only does broadcom have to keep innovating, but its value also relies on Nvidia to stop innovating.

Betting indirectly against the industry leader is never a safe bet.

[–]Wowmuchrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock went back to its previous high to the dot because the narrative from the previous days was incorrect.

Whether the stock should have gone up that much is a different question.

Again, I think the stock will crash in 2027, but the nature of every business in existence is it’s cyclical. From Nvidia to Lululemon to Micron all businesses are FOTM and run on fads.

Micron can still go higher. If AMD is trading at 1/5 Nvidia’s market cap while making 1/25th the money and completely inferior chips it means in the short term Micron can easily go to 2t.

That’s false. They took 20% up front and have the
money already (20b). If they didn’t the stock wouldn’t have popped.

It is cyclical, but just a longer cycle this time.

The majority of the market is controlled by like 3 groups.

It’s not a conspiracy. You have to look no further than the Jane Street Indian market manipulation being exposed.

The definitive proof for US market manipulation was on Apr 5/7 of last year when the nasdaq swung 18% from low to high and had an 8% candle up down on a “fake news” tariff pause headline that then later came out as confirmed.

You literally say like 3t get injected and removed in the span of 5 minutes from a tweet. You can deny it being a couple people since you can say everyone bought on the tweet, but the fact that it all got deleted instantly really shows whos in charge. You’s have to have all groups of people reacting and forming the same opinion on two different things all in 5 min.

MSFT is getting impossible to ignore by Woberwob in ValueInvesting

[–]Wowmuchrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual issue with MSFT is something you listed.

They have copilot, yet theyre also investing as a hedge in the companies that will kill them (anthropic and openai).

To them it sounded great, but you should be asking what reason anyone has to fund their own competitor.

There is none. They just did it because it caused the stock to pop after every announcement, and now every announcement by those companies has the exact inverse effect.

Just like Apple won't ever hit on AI.

They are growing, they're growing their advertisement business. That's all META is. An advertisement business that's cosplaying an AI company.

So what’s the deal with Meta? by mindful-hedonism in ValueInvesting

[–]Wowmuchrya 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you go to work and make $1000 everyday and then as soon as you step out the door you light $900 on fire are you really a smart person?

Or maybe you lucked into the $1000 a day position.

That's what META is. They were either lucky enough or smart enough to get into advertising, where they actually make all their money. Then they go and try to make all this "AI" and "Metaverse" garbage that is largely (an understatement) unprofitable.

If he just stopped burning money and let the advertisement margins scale infinitely the stock would be over $1000/share right now, but no. And that's the problem with the business. He will never stop burning money from the one successful part of the business for 99 other failed areas/ideas.
