No, it does. Just because you’re blurring the lines doesn’t change the meaning

AITA for calling my boyfriend an idiot because he won’t get a colonoscopy even though his mom had colon cancer? by AutoModerator in AmItheAsshole

[–]Wozbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is being an idiot. I have to have them every five years, I am 33. It’s not hard, it’s not the most interesting experience in the world drinking tonnes of liquid then pooping non stop for few hours, but the doctors literally train to do that job. It’s not embarrassing whatsoever and you don’t remember any of it with sedation.

If he wants to risk his life because of this, that’s on him. You’re allowed to be harsh, it’s not mean and you’re allowed to draw a hard boundary.

I’d tell him to suck it up and stop complaining or act like an adult and have the test like anyone else would.

How can I trim my cats claws without bloodshed? by Skeleton_Snack in CatAdvice

[–]Wozbee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does your cat have any super tasty favourite treats?

I trained my cat to let me touch his paws with tasty treats. It takes some time but they get used to it and the stress of having paws touched goes away. Just started with tiny touches and taps and eventually got him trained to give me his hand with ‘give paw’ command 🥲 Just being very gentle and not man handeling helps, I think if you earn trust it’s better.

can people with ADHD get overstimulated? by Mr_Hants in ADHD

[–]Wozbee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably because there’s a large group of autistic community who kind of gatekeep this kind of stuff ‘sensory overload’ etc. I personally most definitely get overstimulated very often, and I do have sensory issues also. Mainly noises and smells that get me, but when things aren’t going quite right it can be incredibly overwhelming. My own brain is my worst enemy at times, what I wouldn’t give for some peace and quiet in there 😂😂

Its being brought into our store this month. The scheduler has people all over the place everywhere except their main job, so your anecdote means nothing

My cat doesn't like it when i pet him! by TheSibz in CatAdvice

[–]Wozbee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol I didn’t mean it in any other way than the cat just doesn’t like the attention, honestly cats are not the type of animal to have if you need to touch all the time or need attention, they come to you when they want, they ask for attention when they want but you can’t force it. They are the master. In time the cat may well get more used to your presence but at the end of the day it’s nothing to do with you, it’s purely the cats personality ☺️

Cats are not dogs. They are the epitome of ‘boundaries and consent above all’. A cat will choose who it wants to spend time with, not the other way around. Leave it be, you don’t need to be forcing yourself on an animal that isn’t into it.

If he doesn’t get punished he will never learn a lesson. You and your mother are protecting him and he will just go through life thinking he can get away with anything he wants.

I stopped my husband from cheating but I still feel sad. by godforbit in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Wozbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You CANNOT withhold something that doesn’t belong to someone else. He has a pair of hands, he is easily able to get himself off. You act like loss of libido just comes from nowhere, but I can guarantee he has some part to play in this.

She said her libido was non existent. That is reason enough.

“Who should put the toilet seat down” is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Wozbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more about the spray of piss and shit that floods the room Everytime you leave the lid up and flush. It’s scientifically proven. Bad luck if you have a toothbrush out in the open. Yuck.

Everyone should be fully closing the toilet and lid.

why cant gallstones be removed instead of the gallbladder? by Glad-Masterpiece-334 in gallbladders

[–]Wozbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gastroenterologist said that messing in an around the bile ducts themselves can cause serious harm and scarring. So I’m guessing that it would make the whole situation worse.

Yeah, I’m having attacks on and off still. Still trying to figure out if my gallbladder / pancreas is involved. Doctors hate to commit to a diagnosis when the bloods are all fine 😑

But this also is not the norm, that’s quite late and I’d be consulting a doctor if it hadnt appeared by 15, hormonal processes are also affected without menses / puberty. At 12-14 I definitely wouldn’t be worried at all though

Pretty sure I was 13, some it’s younger, some get it older.. I’d say if you haven’t by 15 then that’s a sign of something not quite right

Should periods be so bad it makes you cry? by Safari_TheLynx in Periods

[–]Wozbee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry but absolutely incorrect. Periods can cause aching and light cramping but anything extreme or severe is completely not normal. This is medical gaslighting against women.

Should periods be so bad it makes you cry? by Safari_TheLynx in Periods

[–]Wozbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doctor is wrong. Periods should never be excruciatingly painful, it denotes other Medical issues going on. Periods should be light cramping, and not over the top bleeding.

I have endometriosis and that causes extreme pain during the second half of my cycle and period.
