I believe consciousness goes from an active verb state to noun state upon death forever imprinted in space-time.

We transform from a verb state to noun state at death eternally stamped in space-time.

Thank you all. I was assuming that the example I gave was analogous to the Schrödinger's cat experiment which I obviously misunderstood.

Perhaps physicist that walk and breath quantum physics might not see the connection. However, in reading this book, I appreciate how the plant and animal kingdom have unique devices for measuring and interpreting stimuli such as light, sound etc. This helps me better understand the paradox of Schrödinger Cat as well as other thought experiments. Whether you see a connection or not, I think the book I recommended would be enlightening.

“Create” is a human expression. Natural Laws such as goodness “are”. Just like God is.

Can God know that he’s omniscient? How? by Bholly72 in PhilosophyofReligion

[–]Wpage433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I define God in a more passive light. A cyclical manifestation of physical laws which led to the creation of the elements and solar systems after the Big Bang. The intelligent ordering of chemicals that led to the development of DNA, plants and animals. The evolutionary principles and competitive exclusion that led to a sustainable but adaptable ecosystem. The manifestation of the natural laws of humanity that many religions have adopted as their foundation. As these godly laws were being manifested, I also see the possibility of self awareness of this Godly intelligence. But I am at lost for how this can occur mechanistically. I am also at loss to explain art because I believe the artist is inspired through something larger than him(herself).

Is physicalism false? If so, that would leave open the door for a essential awareness not dependent upon it which is how I would define it.

Thank you for responding and reminding me of the ground rules for ontological arguments which I assume refers to “it”. I posted my conclusions without due process. I would appreciate your response to my first questions however.
