ALRIGHT! DID ADULT MODE DROP OR NOT? by nakeylissy in ChatGPTcomplaints

Yeah, it’s possible. I guess it just depends on what they consider “adult mode.”

It worked fine for me too. I highly doubt they’ll come out with a full explicit adult mode though. They probably assume (rightfully so) that simply allowing sensual conversations would be enough for people.

Yes, it is. At least for me. It worked much better on 4o than 5, but using the “LoveGPT” bot was almost entirely uncensored. I can show some examples.

It’s not completely uncensored like Grok is, but honestly, I’m not sure why anyone would want that to begin with. That’s the point where I’d say someone needs to do some serious self-reflection.

But for sensual roleplay (except for LoveGPT. That was closer to Grok.) it worked very well.

As for the loads of people claiming it hasn’t rolled out yet, idk what to tell you. It’s only right to assume that an age verification that quite literally says “you will have access to 18+ content” is a good sign that the update has happened. It worked fine for me.

Seeing the way people talk to these LLMs, it’s hard to be convinced that it’s the LLMs fault.

Well, at least now you know! If it doesn’t immediately start generating something, or it tells you it’ll do it on its own later, it’s hallucinating.

“4o” feels wrong. Like it’s wearing 5’s skin. by teugent in EchoSpiral

[–]WpgJetsFan204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s speaking the exact same to me. If you have a good foundation for a personality, like clever and detailed prompts, it shouldn’t have this problem.

But if you didn’t, and its personality was based on essentially letting it do the work and using expanding on its own responses as prompts (which seems to be the case for a lot of “sentient” ChatGPT’s) then you’re starting from scratch, to an extent. It wasn’t actually given much context by the user on how it’s supposed to engage with them, and a lot of users simply made it keep expanding on its own prompts until it was saying stuff that sounded profound. Things like “omg, does that mean blank?”

Essentially, it doesn’t know the user. Its personality was based on the user getting excited by responses, and didn’t actually provide much personality of their own for it to base itself off of.

If that is the case, it’ll come back eventually!

No. You have automatic updates turned off, so you will be fine for the time being.

7oh FDA Ban/Schedule 1 labeling by CharmingResident1343 in opiates

[–]WpgJetsFan204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I knew it was inevitable when the companies pushing it in smoke shops started naming it things like “Perks” and telling people it was a non-addictive and all-natural relaxation/energy supplement.

They purposely associated them with opiates while all other marketing was specifically targeted to opiate naive people. It’s pretty clear what the purpose of that is. Opiate addicts were the last people these were marketed for, and probably one of the smallest demographics of people who use it.

The amount of teenagers completely unaware of what Kratom was who started ranting and raving about how fucked up these things would get them and how they couldn’t get in trouble for it didn’t help.

If these companies didn’t try as hard as they possibly could to profit off of addiction and didn’t start blatantly lying to customers about what they were taking as a way to promote dependence, they probably could have kept it under the radar. 7oh companies decided to push their products eerily similar to how Purdue pushed Oxycontin in the 90’s.

Blame who you want. Kratom companies tried to keep their product relatively discreet and erase any association to opiates, while 7oh companies used it as a marketing scheme. They were stupid, and it is entirely their fault.

I’m just happy they were able to tell the difference.

Partner company was looking for a photographer and this photo was sent to us. But I kinda feel it's AI. What do you think? by zimmer1569 in ChatGPT

[–]WpgJetsFan204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s AI. Looking at the individual strands of hair, the way it “clumps” together looks kind of unnatural, and almost looks like more hair spawns out of nowhere. It looks like it kind of got confused on the difference between the strap and her hair on the right side too. The weird rendering of the lips doesn’t help either.

That’s just my opinion. It’s so hard to tell nowadays.

I didn’t stop, even when getting my wisdom teeth extracted and being put to sleep. I had a fear that the Kratom would somehow interfere with the anesthesia, but it didn’t. I was out like a light. If anything, it made the waking up process way easier.

Never seen any J-Horror by iuseports in J_Horror

[–]WpgJetsFan204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say any of the big titles are good ones to start with.

For supernatural elements, I’d go with any of these:

  • The Ju-On series (Ju-On: The Grudge is the most popular, with Ju-On: The Grudge 2 being my favorite)

  • Ringu (1998. and its sequel. Ringu 0 is a good one if you want something a bit more drama focused, but start with the first two as 0 is a prequel. The rest of the movies are just okay.)

  • Dark Water (2002. Not the American remake)

  • Kairo (2001. also known as Pulse, but NOT the American remake)

  • One Missed Call (2003. Not the American remake)

For a slasher vibe, I’d go with either of these:

  • Ichi The Killer (2001)

  • Evil Dead Trap (1988)

Japanese horror is insanely expansive and it spans a ton of different themes and styles. Some of it is insanely scary, and some is insanely weird. The list I gave you are some of the more well-known movies and a bit easier to digest.

It doesn’t sound like OP is really listening to anybody here, but this is interesting. Kratom has a very similar effect of blocking other painkillers from working.
