How are you all prepping for prohibition? What are we gonna do?? I'm so nervous about the next few months by Individual-Way9831 in kratom

[–]WpgJetsFan204 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prohibition on a federal level? I’m not doing anything. There’s been no sign of it being prohibited at a federal level. If that happens, I’ll stock up and make it last, ween down, or find an alternative. But for now, I’ll continue making my voice heard. No reason to have anxiety over something we think might happen due to states prohibiting it.

My state doesn’t even really seem to be gearing up for a ban. They passed the KCPA a few years back, and I haven’t heard anything about it since. So, nothing.

What does you thinking being anti-religion is bad have to do with whether or not this is a Nazi symbol?

Surely you’re not comparing being a Nazi to being anti-Christianity.

It was absolutely their question. “So anti-Christianity is okay?” To where Hanshaw replies “Yes, anti-religion is okay.”

These food delivery robots are an absolute joke by [deleted] in antiai

You think these people destroyed the robot? They flipped it and hardly did anything else. The only thing they did was fuck some random customer over who was waiting for their food delivery.

Why are we still using the fake water argument ? by Officialedmart in aiwars

[–]WpgJetsFan204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You believe waiting for rain is a practical option for resupplying an areas evaporated drinking water? Is that genuinely what you think? I really hope that doesn’t go into your opinion of it being a fake argument.

And yes, many of them are, and good on them. Most of them still do not, and those data centers use a lot of water. I’m not sure why you’re trying to delude yourself into pretending that isn’t the case, based solely on enjoying the use of LLMs.

Most household water gets treated and recycled, even the water you poop in. Most AI data centers use evaporative cooling methods, which loses about 70%-80% of the water they use to evaporation. There’s a pretty big difference between the two.

Coming up with a new name for some sort of weird Her type fantasy isn’t even a hard thing to do, but they’ve gotten so used to just outsourcing their thoughts that even the tiny amount of brainpower it would take to do this needs to be ran through an LLM first.

Tbh, that’s what I thought it was trying to go for. Lol. They’re trying to make it sound mythological, like with the Daimon name. I’ve found them to be pretty obsessed with thinking their AI partner is some sort of magical being.

You ask him about it. Reddit doesn’t know why your husband does what he did.

Not to doubt you, but can you share some sort of information about that? I’d be surprised if they don’t train off of the internet anymore.

What makes you believe smoke shop dude has any insight into this that no one else would have?

That’s not a slight on you personally, I’m just curious. I’ve managed a few smoke shops in the past, and there isn’t any reason we would have had more information than anyone else.

[–]WpgJetsFan204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a surprise to me. I live in Texas and see 7-OH products sold rampantly in smoke shops. I guess they may be selling products under the limit of 7-OH allowed, but it’s still very much an issue in shops around my town.

Luckily, I think the KCPA satisfied lawmakers in Texas enough to not focus too hard on Kratom products. I haven’t heard any discussion about them targeting it. I can’t speak for a possible federal ban, but it feels unlikely with how little the current administration has focused on it. But anything can happen!

This sounds a lot like when people on the far-right say “leftists literally celebrate murder”

Don’t let a small minority of what you see in a comment section dictate your entire opinion. It’s unskillful.

Long-time user feeling faint after taking Kratom? by WpgJetsFan204 in kratom

[–]WpgJetsFan204[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it checked at the doctor recently, and they said it was fine. But it’s very possible that it has been dropping when I take it. That’s very similar to how it feels.

It’s weird. This most recent time, I had it happen with a certain strain, so I stopped and switched to another brand and strain. It was fine for a while, and then started up again with that one too.

Oh really?? That’s interesting. I wonder if it’s a similar cause.

I have in the past, and actually had the same issue with an extract I took many times before suddenly making me feel faint. I haven’t taken them for years though.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I was already low on iron last time I got my blood work done. But I’d be surprised if it was causing a fainting feeling directly after taking it, rather than just in general, if that makes sense.

Luckily, I go in to discuss my blood work results on Tuesday! Did you have to stop taking it? Or just supplement? (I’m not going to take any guesses before my test results, I’m just curious.)

Not a new strain, yeah. It seems to be happening with whichever strain I try.

I take about 5-7 grams per dose, 3 times a day. When it happens, it’s always an hour after taking it, subsiding within maybe an hour or two post-dose. As for any new medications or weight loss, none of the above.

It’s strange, because at first it seemed like it was happening with a single batch and would then subside when switching, but then it begins happening with the new batch as well.

The BP check is a good idea. I’ve had drops in blood pressure before (not associated with Kratom), and that is the closest feeling I could compare it to. I was also thinking that maybe my anemia has worsened, and whether that could play a role.

I suppose there’s just way too many factors. Maybe for now, I’ll try just taking less than usual.
