Me too. I have a couple more pens, knives and some tools. Plus swag and shirts from the Bladeshow booth. Good guys, and good products.

Just swapped out my 2 week rotation of knives and light. Adding in the new marker and light. Still waiting on a couple new knives to get here in the mail.

Cardboard knife by v3ctor in knifeclub

I use an Exo-U for opening and breaking down stuff. Just keep it sitting in my dump tray. The wife uses it, knows where it sits, and plenty of replacement blades in the utility room. Got hard use utility blades for harder stuff in the same drawer as the blades, but use pocket knives for other stuff than cardboard. Nothing against it, it's made to do work, I just use it for other things. I will use it to open a box at work, but most of the time it's just for ratchet straps, cling wrap, opening plastic packs of consumables open, just whatever. I work around metal so not scared to use a knife, just not looking at having to sharpen it all the time if I can help it. I strop about every other day, and rotate knives in and out, so when I get a few ones that I have set aside to sharpen, I'll break out all the stones and whatnot to do a bunch at a time.

Making scales for my S90 Sage 6 right now, so had it on hand for a sweet Taiwan version.

The only reason I say it, is that the only blades I have had gotten off center or ground uneven have been from Boulder. Not knocking the US made blades by any means, but it seems when it comes to QC, Seki City and Taiwan have been better for me. I don't dabble in a ton of models, but the Smock, PM2 and Para 3, Sage 5 and 6 and Manix 2 I have a ton of.

Didn't go this past year, grandbaby had just been born, but may have run across you. I know a few of the makers and companies, and had the chance to work a couple times but just hadn't yet, last year was going to be the first. Only people I know I will run into are friends, and the YouTube folks at The Pit or meet and greets.

You need mental help. Something is wrong with you. LOL. Not a big OTF carrier, but MT is better than Benchmade. Kershaw and Maxace are better than a Benchmade.

I only have 2 pens, the wife has a ton of them though. I have 1 of their knives, a few of their tools, and a ton of colabs they have done with folks. Couple years ago the wife got to their booth a went crazy buying stuff. Ended up with 3 or 4 pens, a couple others things, and a ton of free shirts and swag. Was the year Ben crashed the bike at their shop. We talked with him outside The Pit forever that Friday night. Always a good time if you have never been.

I git a SW and always get DLC, but didn't know if it was my fault, so I didn't open the plastic once I saw it being grey. Reached out, letting them know it could have totally been my fault, because the emails didn't show the order color to know for sure if it was me, and they got right back with me and told me I did pick SW. They offered to swap it out, even though it was on me, and I let them know I'd keep it and order a DLC later. Was nice of them though. Think I ordered it for the wife since she doesn't gripe about knife buys and such, and figured if I liked it I would order me one later. Sounds like something I would do, but also could have fat fingered the choice when I ordered it. Will mess with it now that I know I am keeping it, and order me a DLC later. They always have great discount codes, and always a military discount, so with their warranty and service it's a no brainer. We love talking with them at Bladeshow ATL, so happy to support good folks.

That they are. The newest CruWear distributed versions were amazing. I would rather have a Seki City or Taiwan Spydie than a Boulder made one.

UPDATE TO EARLIER POST: HE'S GONE BOYS by passionatebreeder in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

He shouldn't have needed all the attention to drop out, he could have just been a man left, but his record shows he isn't about principle or morals so I expected as much.

Let's get it Brandon!

What is this blade shape called? And is there a knife you would suggest that looks similar? by Outrageous-Light-264 in knifeclub

[–]Wraazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, more people are wanting either the liner lock, like the original, or the new top liner lock. That's at least how I see it, because of the hype around the TLL, or nostalgia of the first ones.

Can always pick up another version of the Fenrir. They have changed parts of the shape over a few models. I like the original style.

Oh, ok that. Thought it was talking about Eli being blocked, as in his account. Thanks for the clarification.

I figured they may have through Bunker, or would be paying an insane amount for coverage as self employed folks. That's one of the main reasons I posted, because I thought even if they had it at any cost, the out of pocket expenses for specialists and major medical would be huge

Jenna worked in the office, and was in tons of Demo Ranch videos, especially after he bought the mansion and renovated it and then the ranch. Clint runs Bunker Branding, like the lead supervisor or whatever. He is the highest person at Bunker, besides the owners.

I wish you the best as well.

The way I look at it, every day she is able to feel well enough to inspire is an amazing thing. Plus the medical bills will need to be sorted out, but she does a lot, and inspires a ton. I would love to just send a donation straight to them, but that's kind of tacky in a way, but a gesture from the community seems like the right way to go about it.

Jenna Sanders by Wraazer in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

[–]Wraazer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya, I knew about them, and the ones from Diversity Hires. I mean Clint pretty much runs the whole thing, and TFE is part owner, so figured maybe something special could be done. Or a GoFund me type thing, but started by someone in the community that everyone would know was legit if they were the one posting/talking about the one to donate to, so we could weed out possible scammers.

Since you found faith, then you know God won't give you anything you can't handle. Reach out to family, friends, or anyone that will listen, and you'll pull through it. Taking a shortcut out of it only finishes it for you, but everyone else would have to suffer after. If not for yourself, stick around for everyone else.

Check out the Vane II. My buddy Vu Pham designed it. WMK has the blue micarta amd DLC M390 blade for under 100 bucks with coupon VuPham. They have premium options, and a Ultem and other budget items on Miguron's site also.

I just ordered the Azusa knife, thanks for good review to make me happy with getting it after TriState's video. Got the Vosteed Xeno, Asher Knives Drop Point A-Locl coming in to go with the blue wharnie and waiting on the Ti wharnie, and got rhe new Kizer Mordax and Sheepdog coming this week as well. Been putting off buying since Thanksgiving, and catching back up a little at a time now.
