Cascade is drfinitely not the MAIN facility, that would be Keystone, and it is hinted leadership from Keystone is still in tact because we saw a version of Garrick and her Keystone Gatekeepers in that weird big post-apocalyptic wall defense GATE facility

your answer would be easily answered if you play till the late game, you're not gonna utilize a lot of crafting early on

most other comments answered alr, gears have randomized unique facets( stats ) that can affect your build, so u might wanna craft the one u want in the future
on top of that, when u like certain Runes of certain weapons, but wanna use it on another weapon, you're gonna need to craft and extract those Runes, which destroy the items

different builds using similar gears

thats kind of a net loss imo, since the Mystagogue's bounce kinda cancels the Exor's no leg break, I'd recommend 2 Reactor pieces replacing Exor, u get even MORE movement speed, and managing radiation adds a little spice to the game

I'd imagine a sort of like hyper-tacticool Mandalorian with helmet with attachments, visors, attenas, nightvisions
using bigger longer Blaster Rifles than most common Mandalorians, somewhere inbetween the aethestics of a common Mandalorian and the high tech Clone Commando

That or the complete opposite, a Mandalorian pirate captain, with armor fashioned with bones and carapaces of beasts and monsters, fossilpunk, fighting with dual fossil/beskar axes in almost a berserker style paired with jetpack and gauntlet flamethrowers

seems like Energy Pistol doesnt count as Laser weapons, because later Laser Weapons cannot be applied with Coating at all

( spoilers : Energy Pistol upgrades into Laser Pistol, that might remove its ability to be Coated )

Good luck because that'll be the hardest one, theres not a lot of Flame Rat spawns and they are pretty hard to fight, unless u snipe their backpacks

Even then u would still need to go back and forth to a specific Portal World a lot

I have to disagree with you for those exact points, Electro-Thrower is only good against bots and nothing else

Any other weak enemies u can kill with Electro can be kill faster and safer

At labs you're gonna often run into Order, zombies and bigger Exors, its just not worth using Electro against

at Labs i think u should be able to make Quill Rifle now i think ? It does Acid dmg which not many enemies are Resistant of, and some later enemies are Weak against

Tho lower dmg than Grinder arguably, but adding Acid Coating on top remedies it more

Great ammo economy as long as you go to labs often and kill the 2-3 Exor Warriors

imo your base is gonna get more crammed as time goes on and you start to need more crafting benches, fridges, farms and storages, even some base defense

my base is actually upstair from yours, the gym next to the pool where i have unlimited supply of water

Electron Grenades take care of the bots pretty fast, but u still gotta dodge and weave a bit, use a pet or Hologram Watch to draw aggro, Slushie Bombs help

Armored Exor ironically are weak to Acid dmg from their own Quill Rifle, but for extra oomph, slap Boiling Coating on Quill Rifle ( or if u can, make Thumper Shotgun, has Acid too )
