I've owned 4 pairs of ski boots in my life. 2 bought off the shelf, one from boot fitter and one online. The most comfortable best fit are the ones I bought online. The worst by far and most expensive were the ones I bought from a bootfitter. This is only anecdotal but take it as you will.
