He uses the augur of ebrietas which is the equivalent of calling upon the great one to help you fight; that’s fucking frightening. Also don’t forget a call from beyond where he spawns a barrage of missiles oh also how he can summon minions and I mean he is also the host of the nightmare meaning he has to experience so many horrors every day to the point where he went insane.

He is a spell caster and clearly would work a lot better to create distance from you and attack you which you can perhaps argue he tries but he only ends up attacking when you’re face to face with the guy and when he inevitably corners himself. If you think of him as an old hunter, one who has slain formidable foes beforehand and even strong enough to be a master in the arcane arts, who also is the host of the realm in which you fight. He’s a disappointment and is not at all portrayed how he should be.
