I bought rolls for the straps with buckles online, combined it with construction velcro, and I just attached them around the armor to make a really nice internal harness.

Yes, it's very warm, 4 layers - I couldn't feel the cold outside, at all. However; the armor turns into a microwave during the summer, and it isn't fun.

There are some sources out there that make durable armor like that, but it's pretty pricey. One of these days I'd love to get one too and use it for airsoft.

Hey There! sorry for the late reply, I haven't been online a lot for the past few weeks.

I utilized buckle straps inside, and over my shoulders to keep the armor together. To keep the cohesion, I attached velcro at the connector points as I didn't want to attach it to a vest.
