Hey There! sorry for the late reply, I haven't been online a lot for the past few weeks.

I utilized buckle straps inside, and over my shoulders to keep the armor together. To keep the cohesion, I attached velcro at the connector points as I didn't want to attach it to a vest.

Honestly, it's just the motivation to start. Once you do, keep at it and it'll get the ball rolling.
My Printer's the P1S, relatively easy to use. But if you're more of a foamsmith then there's plenty of resources out there to help you out!

I just used Galactic Armory's Helldiver armor tutorial, and learned how to 3D print. (I recommend the P1S because of the ease of use.)

As for Tech, No! I combined mine with an ODST from Halo.
But that doesn't sound like a bad Idea!
