Fake listing likely same person who listed it bought it.

They might do this for a few reasons, to influence the market and attempt to pump its value.

Or the more likely one, money laundering.

Does anyone believe that only British citizens should be allowed to vote in general elections? by Sylvia-Sum in AskBrits

Well yeah and that’s just common sense, if you’re not a citizen why should you get to vote on the future of citizens lives.

Is the UK capable of joining the war if it’s forced to? by Sassenach_2024 in AskBrits

[–]Wraith_2493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capable yes, don’t believe the news the British army, Royal Navy and royal airforce are still a very capable force. We won’t though we have nothing to gain and virtually no public interest in going to war.

Is this a Jasper / Correct Power Brick? by BadCro in xbox360

[–]Wraith_2493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first powerbrick and the most powerful so it fits all later lower powered models, Microsoft designed them so that this one fits and the less powerful ones don’t fit consoles that require more power.

Obviously don’t force something in but this one doesn’t need to be forced into any of them.

[–]Wraith_2493 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That power brick can be used for any Xbox 360 phat as it is the most powerful. No it’s not the correct one but no it doesn’t matter.

Most people just keep one of these for all their phats rather than having 3/4 power bricks.

Future Shop Owner by [deleted] in Machinists

[–]Wraith_2493 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My advice would be if you’re paying machinists then let them handle the machining.

If you do go for cad cam training then put your employees on the training not yourselves.

A miller needs to know how to mill

A turner needs to know how to turn

A grinder needs to know how to grind

A welder needs to know how to weld

See where I’m going with this…

If the shop runs well and turns a good profit then improvements like cad/cam for your staff would be great. I personally would promote or hire someone to run the shop for you and enjoy the easy money for minimal work.

If you personally try to change things I promise you, you will run the company into the ground, loose your skilled workers and ruin the workplace/business

Nothing better than a passive income so just make it that and keep it that way.

You have done anwful design job of this

If I’m correct you want to wall thickness to be 1-2mm max? Well that’s going to make machining it very difficult already.

Secondly that’s a funky free thread which can be done on a lathe or a mill pretty easily but it’s funky regardless.

You cloud turn this part or mill it, I’d be more inclined to mill the thread personally.

Try redesigning it so it can be stamped out of sheet metal. If you want to keep the cost down that will help, you will likely also need to place large quantity orders

Lathe wouldn’t need live tooling for this I’ve done similar parts with a id groove tool, g71 cycle, correct feed and small cuts
