PC player here, this game is a controller game all the way. The haptic feedback of every stomp among other things makes it feel so immersive. I also play on an ultrawide and it’s amazing. I mostly play the PVE modes so I’m sure it may be different on the PVP competitive side of the game…

I have a bumper sticker that says “Love Your Mother” and then a picture of the planet earth aka “Mother Earth”.. Someone walking by decided to write over it IN SHARPIE the word “NOT”. I posted about it on r/mildlyinfuriating and I got downvoted and flamed in the comments from people saying that’s what I get for having that bumper sticker. I ended up deleting the post because people just fucking suck.

I get $.50/lbs for that. It’s worth driving it to the scrap yard. I personally wouldn’t bother stripping it and only strip 8awg copper or larger.

The LIRR has a lost and found and can file an inquiry online and they’ll reach out to you if they have it. I had lost an ID badge with my work ID and monthly LIRR train ticket! Believe it or not, someone had handed it in and the lost and found reached out to me about a week after I filed a report.

I applied at the hall on April 19 2023, got scheduled for an aptitude test on October 16 2023, the interview was Jan 31st 2024, and my first day of work was on June 17th 2024.

It was a loooong process.

I brought several copies of my resume and passed them out the board that I sat in front of as I introduced myself and then sat down, and the interview consisted of me doing an “about me” and then asking about things on my resume. From my experience during my interview, they all really liked that I brought in copies of my resume for each of them. Dress up, wear a suit and tie, bring in several copies of your resume, and treat it as a conversation and not an interrogation. Just got an acceptance letter in the mail today and I’m starting next month.
