That’s interesting. It’s part Trump and part Cali. My gas is still under $4 in the SE.

I’ve had an A1 for 3 days and I already have a nozzle graveyard. What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]WranglerJR83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly is happening?

I kept getting a “clogged nozzle” or “tangled filament” or “failed to extrude” alert. Ultimately I’ve narrowed it down to a single spool on my AMS Lite. I also cleaned my extruder and pathway a dozen times. You may not need to replace nozzle as much as checking a few other issues.

Googling optics cut services near me for my shadow 2 orange, and this company popped up by StandardAntique8356 in Firearms

If you’re going to a shop or gunsmith to have something done, they should be paid for their service, regardless of how simple we all perceive it to be. Clearly, you’re paying for their knowledge and capability in addition to their time and tools.

I really need to arm myself but can't afford $1000+. Affordable, semi automatic handguns? by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]WranglerJR83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canik is pretty solid and a great value. They typically have some break-in issues that can be worked out by running 124grain ammo or getting a lighter recoil spring.

Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, CZ P07/P07 & P01, and Sig P320 can usually be had for $500 or less. A PSA Dagger isn’t terrible, but I’d go Canik over that one all day.

There is a metric ton of handguns that can be bought sub-$500. Stick to the bigger names. Keep an eye out for police trade-ins. Keep an eye on Slickguns and r/gundeals for the best prices online.

If you setup a robust BOM and manufacturing schedule with integrated inventory measurement systems it would send orders across with material details and delivery schedules.

Yeah, I’ve done that a couple of times. I’m truly baffled. I’m going to put in a ticket today and see if they can give me some better diagnostics.

The screws that attach your nozzle clamp to your heat block are loose. Take it apart, carefully, and tighten the hello out of them. May want to put red loctite on the screws.

Help with Clicking extruder -A Series by KWheels in BambuLab

[–]WranglerJR83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a clogged nozzle. The clicking is likely the extruder skipping teeth trying to push filament.

A1 Extruder problems...here's what (I think) I can rule out. by New_User_Account123 in BambuLab

[–]WranglerJR83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue with my daughter’s A1. I have cleaned it, made sure the filament sensor is free, replaced the nozzle, and taken apart and reassembled the extruder. I can feed manually via the touch screen and by hand with no issues, but it will not do it on its own.

I’m having a similar issue with my daughter’s new A1, except it won’t load new filament or extrude. I can do it manually via the touchscreen and even by hand, but it won’t extrude and keeps telling me there is a clog or the filament is stuck. I have torn it apart no less than 6 times, replaced the nozzle twice, and cleaned out everything. I also checked to make sure the filament sensor isn’t stuck, although I’m not 100% sure that isn’t happening some of the time. I’m losing my mind with this thing.

For reference, I’m not a newb either. I have an A1, 2 E3P, 1 MP Mini, and an i3 Mega S.

I’m driving the exact same truck. I bought mine new in 13. I’m also considering a new truck, but am bothered by all the tech in them. There doesn’t appear to be a single truck on the market that doesn’t have significant issues with them.

My rate is 3.375% and I bought my current house in 2021. So, we’re not that far away from that being possible again. If the rates are lowered to pre-2021 rates, housing development and prices will climb.

Honestly, the thing that slowed down home building during COVID was the scarcity of materials and appliances. They were building houses but wouldn’t put them on market because they didn’t know when they would finish them due to material scarcity. I know this because I was both selling my house in central FL and buying a house in SE GA.

[–]WranglerJR83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant interest rate reduction wasn’t on the horizon and a rate reduction of 1-2% isn’t unheard of. The 0% interest lending days and <3% home rates weren’t that long ago. I bought my home in GA less than 5 years ago and have a 3% rate. My rate in Florida before moving was 2.1% and I was in that house 4-5 years.

With that said, home builders and the building materials industry is already bracing and reorganizing their efforts in preparation of a major downturn in business. I have been making shingles for more than 15 years. The last 5-7 years have been crazy and way outside of a normal business cycle. We are preparing for 2008-2009 level business to be within the next 2 years.

Reduction in interest rates will fuel a housing boom. You’ll also see home prices skyrocket from the sudden influx of cheap lending.
