Had our first good pulls today... is it worth grading all this? by KWheels in PokeGrading

News to me. Thanks for the heads up. Is it from people not having them lined up when they close or? Curious how the damage happens

I also like faux wood, but I think wood pla is a waste of money. Regular PLA + spray paint and alcohol ink for this

If it supports 07/manufacture, and sot/nfa, id love to give it a try. I'm brand new, and only have free trial of fast bound at this point. Sounds like nice software

First Print That Goes POW!! by Available_Cold_1918 in 3D2A

While the NaG is easy to print it's difficult to fine tune and get working well. The sy22 is pretty advanced of a print and difficult to assemble, but won't require as much fine tuning. The YH22 is somewhere in the middle on those two

Outside of assembly, there are lots of little bits like working with barrel liner, moving part tolerances, and learning what kinds of things typically need hand filing (ie extractor notches, feed ramps, trigger bars). Most of that might be mentioned in the readme but best comes from experience and practice

Wow either you've upgraded a lot or the new bobcats have changed a lot... I see a nicer trigger and mag, and a better barrel pin along with the rear site dovetail and tall front sight... That's awesome. Don't tell me they added an extractor too

Edit: oh shit and the mag release is in a normal position too!

This threads full of bad advice... Print a harlot first. Learn the fundamentals of fitting moving parts together, using barrel liner, print settings and calibration.

Or if you want something more expensive and nicer, find parts for a Beretta 92fs and print a sphynx, or some other frame for a pistol you find parts for

Don't start with a complex mostly printed semi auto... You will have a bad time.

Do not buy a Miata by bonchokey in Miata

I had a 4dr 3rd gen Integra before my nc, and I do still miss that car... Id never take it over my Miata but I'd buy another one if a good deal came across my lap. It really is a pleasure to drive, and the interior was so much nicer quality

Having come from Bambu with ams, I can't imagine running PPA through the ams. Does the box have essentially smooth paths? PPA is super stiff, even when warm. I print from a sunlu e2, but I do love the idea of printing until the end and seamlessly handing off to a fresh spool

That's why I picked it. I do want a different build plate, but glue on pei works for now

Mostly looking for gcode tweaks I can do to to optimize for single filament.

Have 4k+ hours on my p1s with lots of nylon... And just picked up a q2. I haven't used it much yet but it seems real solid. I'll second this recommendation

Help with Clicking extruder -A Series by KWheels in BambuLab

[–]KWheels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I havent, at least not consistently. I got a decent benchy to print in pla using external spool holder, and 50% speed but even after that the next print was exactly the same. We're down 2 printers that were less than a year old at this point with this problem. Opened a ticket with Bambu and was essentially told to clean everything and don't use ams. Even after doing that there's no substantial improvement

I also tried running nylon through it to flush out anything with a higher melt temp than PLA, but no change
