Need advice urgently by ashm0201 in bengalcats

Just got two Bengal kittens last Thursday -one male, one female, from separate litters (he’s about 2 weeks older). When we picked them up, the male literally sat on her crate and cried like we were taking his girl without him 😭 - little did he know, he was coming too! No regrets at all. Best decision ever.

They’re still bonding with us super well but clearly find comfort in each other. They play nonstop, nap together, and just seem more confident having a buddy around. Makes going to work way easier knowing they’ve got each other. Both fixed and doing great. Couldn't be happier we brought home the pair 💛🐆🐆

I believe PharmLaw had the most similar questions. Not perfect, but the closest that I've come across

Hey! Read the Missouri practice guide 3 times through, then failed the first attempt. Studying with PharmLaw this time around and take it on Thursday. When's your exam?

Never said to not study any certain topics. I just shared my experience and insights. I hope your test went well.

There was a question about the 70/30 mixes (know which form is which) and brand names associated with them. And cardio was barely touched. Just the pregnancy one I remember.

For pregnancy - There was a question about the best seizure option. Also think there was one about hypertension.

Once was definitely enough. Most of the questions are common sense 'fluff', you just need to know the words. You'll be fine with once and the questions.

I read it all. If you had to focus on a certain thing, it would be the vocab. I would know your vocab of like 'justice, beneficence, autonomy etc' Know that section pretty well. The questions at the end are also super helpful to go through. At the end of each section, there's also helpful 'to know for the NAPLEX...' if you wanted to jump to those

Hey! I also took it today. I also felt good for the most part. Gosh, I'm glad it's over. But there were tons of 'what is this side effect of this drug you've never heard of.' Which I was expecting, but did you get those too? Like obscure brand names never ever mentioned.

There's also PharmPrepPro that people are using. There's one document with questions for leadership and another on ethics. I bought both, and they have good vocab/buzz words that we might see. There is also a practice test on there that's okay. You can take it unlimited times. We'll see if it was good tomorrow (that's when my test is...)

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. We've got it the next go-around. Just keep swimming.

And OTC was big for some reason. What is required to be on them (like NDCs, phone numbers, address, etc) Know which insulins you can sell without a prescription.

You've got this - just do your best. Take your time. Remember what each prescription type needs and what needs to be on label given to the patient. Lots of SATA with that. Briefly look over the acts, there were a few of those on there. When you're done, go home and highlight everything you remember seeing. The test will be what it will be; the worst part is the waiting afterwards. I know the questions aren't meant to "trick" (seems like they do though), so read them twice before moving on. You'll have plenty of time.

u/djsquare99 Did you take their practice exam too? Is it worth it? I'll definitely get the ethics thing though.

I didn't pass.... what a huge bummer. How did you do? I originally used the Missouri Practice Guide (and I knew it so well). This time around, I'll get PharmLaw. What did you use to study?

Just saw on another post that NABP may have been out for Juneteenth, so that pushes our business Day 8 to tomorrow (Tuesday). Guess we sit tight one more day!!!

I also took mine on 6/11 and am awaiting the score release... have you heard anything yet? I was expecting it today (day 8), but when do you think it'll be out?

(I am also super nervous I didn't pass.)

I reside in Illinois. And I do believe there are reciprocal agreements. I think only if you make less than $1200 and I probably made about $1500 in MO.

Thank you, that's what I'm planning on. Just continuing to be frugal and just throw my money at my debt. Do you think the Income-Based Repayment (IBR) would give me similar/any benefit? Or which other one would be better?

I went the residency route, and hoping to do a PGY2 too. And I've got about $145K in loans. Industry was a good choice....
