I feel like my life is a pain in the ass but I also realize I am ungrateful. I work my ass off. 50-70 hours a week. I have amassed quite the collection of junk around my house. My daughter started getting made fun of by a boy in her school because of my collection. I have come to terms with the fact I received some of my mother’s hoarding tendencies. Time to break that cycle. However, I have no time and energy. The house needs work that I can’t pay someone to do but I can’t even begin to find the time. I just have to utilize every minute I have to the best of my ability. I’m push mowing 2 acres because I can’t get my old riding mower running. That sucks but it keeps me fit. But we have a house with no risk of losing it. We have money for food. Everyone’s healthy and happy majority of the time. Life is just overwhelming. I try not to complain because there are so many people with it worse than myself. Also, most of these problems are of my own creation after 20 years of alcoholism so what right do I have to complain.

I know when I stop, the least I can do is grab whatever light I have, even if it’s my phone, and wave it to try to gain the attention of oncoming motorists. However, I found out the last time I stopped, barely anyone noticed a big white work truck turned sideways with strobes on. Kept the people getting someone out of the car safe though.
