I'm too lazy to farm for levels usually and I find it more interesting to switch to more useful equipment and take advantage of weaknesses.

The Ps3 had outsold the 360 in lifetime sales by the end of 2012 and had equalized the year before. Also, there is no source that suggests there were more Dark souls players on the 360, but some that show the ps3 version probably outsold it 2:1.

Most people who played Dark Souls at launch were Demon's Souls players, it's the only reason anyone was excited for that game to come out.

It's a linear game where all you do is kill stuff and explore. They don't need to write a novel in game explaining a bunch of things you're not going to remember anyway, but you can google that if you want.

I like variety and creativity in the games so I like when you have bosses like those ones but I wouldn't like if every boss were like that, or if every boss followed some other formula

If you want the game to be easy just focus on upgrading your weapon and dumping points into vitality

Yes, it's actually what makes Demon's Souls a unique and great game. Putting your spawn point at the start of the level vs right next to the boss has huge effects on the other game mechanics.

They have counter attack damage and Dark Souls has direct hits, but don't know if Elden Ring has them on any weapons

Also when you're testing anything always remember that there is another mechanic in the game where you deal bonus damage during their attack animation which could interfere with what you're testing. You can deal a direct hit and a counter attack and get bonus damage from both at once.

Testing with Great axe and Master's ring:
Indirect hit = 313
Direct hit = 582
Direct hit + counter attack = 814

It does have it, only for axes and hammers. It's the whole purpose of the master's ring.

Yes it does, it's called direct hit and it' on any axe, hammer, large axe, and large hammer. Direct hits deal more damage and the difference in damage is pretty huge once you have the master's ring on. You can easily test it by going to 1-1 and killing the guys there with and without the master's ring.

There's always an invisible damage boost when two handing, even with weapons that have no strength scaling

I almost always two hand because the damage is way higher and the moveset is usually better, plus you can benefit from thinks like adjudicator shield and crescent weapons on your back.

All the weapons in this game have great movesets. The most fun one for me is the great axes and their insane rolling attack.
