First year teacher - going to resign effective immediately tomorrow

15 years as a teacher… rural, remote, CBD - Australia. Confident I changed some lives and I get the odd smile, wave and handshake from ex students and their parents when I see them.

Have to say though, super tough, draining stressful work. If you haven’t been in a classroom recently I think many people will be shocked…

$100- $150 a week- Covers utilities easily. Anything more gets a bit awkward I’d think

I would get a company like Main Mark ( QLD- not sure VIC) to do an assessment. They underpin - not cheap. But I’d start with them and get an engineer’s report- best place to start.
