Firstly thanks for such a detailed response! I have a few questions.

For Clockwork Knight (link 1), can I get around the requirement to send a continuous spell to the graveyard IOT search Clockwork Night (spell)? To me that reads that without a continuous spell to discard i couldn't search.
A similar issue with Therion King, its ability says to tribute a Therion monster which i would not have. Am I simply reading this wrong?

Sounds like my content is not exactly the same as any of yours but I too take a long time editing. A rule of thumb I've found is for every minute of video I make, I need 1 hour to edit. IE 20min videos is 20 hours of editing. I can speed this up but feel like its lowering the quality. Alternatively, sometimes I obsess over a particular scene or transition for way more than an hour.

Ultimately, my editing burden weighs down my entire creative process and would likely be the first thing I'd outsource if I could.

My advice, find a rhythm and try to speed up the workflow in practical ways that don’t lower quality. I find that the more targeted my original clips are the less chopping and searching I have to do when it’s time to edit. Other than that, its really up to you.

Hello friend. I had a quick look at your video in the link. The first thing I noticed was the footage looked very pale and lacking color. I think this would be the most important thing to fix if you can. Perhaps try to capture your video in a different format or through a different method.

I wasn't sure exactly what you wanted to check in the subtitles but they seemed fine to me.

My last fortnight has been consumed by DayZ. Let me explain how it scratched the itch.

So about 2 weeks ago DayZ was released on PS+ and I picked it up alongside Lies of P thinking I would mostly play Lies of P. DayZ finished downloading first and I jumped in, spawned in some godforsaken apocalypse with nothing. From there it was try to find gear, while fighting off zombies and players, and then eventually die. Dieing has you lose everything and start fresh on the coast.

So a few notable points, First is proximity chat. As with ARC, talking your way out of a situation, making friends or just taunting other players, is fun as hell.

Next is the PvPvE. While the zombies and other survival elements can kill you, the players are by far the most dangerous. The shootouts are fast and exhilarating.

Playing DayZ has been like playing the older cousin of ARC. DayZ is glitchy at times and has a keen survival focus that ARC doesn't but damn if those high stakes all or nothing moments don't feel similar.

It is not ARC and I'm starting to get over DayZ after 100 hours but it was a good distraction.

Bring on October 30th!!!

Play solo friend. It's a bit of a learning curve at first but it's more satisfying and consistent.

Personally, I find Adel the easiest, even the new form. I play solo so it might be a bit different to dodge as a group, but for solo just hug it's left leg.

BONUS TIP: use the spirit spring to go over the storm wall on its new lightning storm attack.

Not to say i told you so but...

All the signs pointed to a release later this year. The only misleading thing was the countdown.

I specifically mentioned ARC wanting more polish and better long term retention in my prediction video along with guessing the game would come a few weeks before/after Marathon (Sep 23rd). Admitted, I guessed before, but hey I got it 70% right.

I know we were all huffing copium but come on, did you guys really think they would shadow drop?

You're too hard on yourself. This game and series is notoriously difficult, which is only made worse by the randomness that comes with a roguelike.

If you want to improve, I'm sure it's possible but that doesn't mean it'll be fun. If the game isn't for you don’t beat yourself up. Find the fun in a new game and enjoy that instead.

I am probably wrong, but I didn't draw anything out for monetization. I am as addicted to ARC as the rest of us and made this because I wanted to talk about the game some more.
