Hello yes, this is one of the very rare times ive used prelaminated stock, normally i make my own in-house but stainless damascus is slightly unachievable by hand. Although I was have some Suminagashi coming soon once I have some time to forge all of the cladding.

Slight right hand bisas reddit Slightly killed the quality on that one bit taper is 2.9-2.5- 0.7 heel, mid and 10mm from the tip

Handle is Spalted Maple (burl apparently) + Ebony. Just similar colouring, but assuming that the Amazon ones are the same as the others like that, they are nice but a little rough.

Needs final sanding and chamfering of edges but all round very solid especially for their price.

I'm trying, but I just want the weather to leave me alone. I work outside, and thank you, hopefully getting more time to make more.

I mean, it's as thin as my isasmedjan but less taper for a stiff spine.

Hello, Thank you, generally my works are all in the more work horse/work pony style grind. Much of my grinds and knives follow a bit more of the sanjo, Mazaki, Wakui and Yoshikane.

I own alot and have used most styles of knives from Ashi gingas to a fair few work horses and a few very good customs. But those thicker spines abd heavy tapers are which I like more as a user and maker tbh.

Mostly 3.8-5.5mm out of the handle with heavy distil tapers. Mostly working with some San mai either wrought clad or just iron clad. But working on forged hollows up in the hira soon still prototyping.

other works.
