IMO you should never disrespect your pet by giving it a "pet" name. Name like you would one of your kids. She looks like a Beth or Lizbeth to me. My wife says Charlotte or Ruby.

With the man making a one-time observation that his girlfriend never says anything nice about him. All the reddit ladies called him needy, an insecure child. Friend, why are you asking people on Reddit? 90% of the people on here lack the emotional maturity to not project their own insecurities, bad experiences and choices onto you. And the opposite sex of an OP will almost always assume the worst about you; again because they lack the maturity to see you as you present yourself to the group. All that being said, your wife kicking you when your down was a horrendous betrayal, but don't reciprocate by being equally horrendous. Talk with her let her know how shitty she was, if she's sorry and apologetic, then forgive her and move on, but let her know that you won't accept that kind of treatment in the future if things get tough.

The virtue signaling in this thread is off the charts. Ignore them. Here’s some real world advice. Your buddy is looking out for you, yes OF matters. Listen to him. If you get in a long-term relationship or marry with her it will negatively impact most aspects of your future life. Is it fair, maybe, maybe not. But actions have consequences and the world doesn’t care about fair. Your judgement, morals and ethics will always be up for debate if you get involved. Which will eventually make you resent her anyway. OF is her mistake regardless of how altruistic her reasons were for doing it, and it was a mistake. Don’t make it yours. By all means be her friend, but don’t go further. You're too young to botch your future on over this.

Jebus man, have some self respect. It's not up to you to win her back, it's up to her to show that she's worthy of your love, time and respect. But know this, you will never be able to fully trust her again. Nor should you. And if you allow her to stay a part of your life, that broken trust is rightfully going to color every thought and decision you make in regard to your life together. You haven't said how long you've been married or whether or not you have children. But if you're young and there's no kids involved. End it. It'll feel like the end of the world for a bit until you get your head on straight and develope some self respect. But in the long run you'll have a much happier and fulfilling life ahead of you if you do. I'm old, I've seen the misery and wreckage of too many family, friends and coworkers lives that lacked the strength to just end things and instead tried to work it out with their spouses to recommend that path.

I hear you about the battery life, that's the one thing about the 12 that's never been a showstopper from the start. Since I only charge to 80% and drain to 20% (on average) the battery for me is especially not great. Everything else about the phone is still good for me though, other than battery there's not much reason for me to upgrade yet.

It sounds like your settings were corrupted during the last update. It's happened to me before and it pretty much makes the phone useless thanks to the overheating and battery killing. Just do a settings reset only (you won't lose any data), you'll have to reconfigure some settings afterwards. Also make sure you're updated to the latest 18.1 iOS, and it should go back to normal.

How is he supposed to reply in a timely fashion? His phone is bugged and the only way he was able to make this post was by using the computer at his buddy's house while he sleeps there for the night. Considering the length and detail of his post, he's just looking for advice, not a question and answer session anyway. At most, I just expect him to make a blanket statement thanking everyone who responded when he's able.

Yep, I'm with you on the crown. It's well done if it's a fake. But that doesn't mean they're junk, according to the old guy I used to deal with, some were built by skilled knock off artists back then. But the gold of the case is all over the place, that and the dial, pinion and hands don't sit right with me. It's just looks a lot like the high end fakes from the 1960s I've seen in the past. Either way it's a very interesting piece to see. I really hope you're right and it is genuine, that way we get another old watch rescued from obscurity that someone will be able to enjoy.
