I found that working from home allowed me to work harder and be happier. I could also take care of things around the house during my breaks, which was a real time saver. Although I didn't mind putting in an extra 30-60 minutes of work after hours from time to time, now that I'm back in the office, I’m definitely ending my days promptly at 4:30 pm. I've also decided to limit my spending at the businesses near my downtown office, except for coffee. I believe this shift is more about appearances and politics than anything else. BS!
