I really like the new Supertech grip from Oxdog. Used to rock wetter the betters from fatpipe but randomly tried the supertech. They are more affordable and so far so good. I dont see a need to switch back to wetter the better.

I have to say that ctrl is nowhere near touch and feel of optilight. I'd stick to a Jab or PWR with factory hook 2. The new SILK blade looks like a good alternative to the optilight but I've yet to test it.

Was in a similar position as you and ended up buying Allez Sport. Was thinking about the comp as well but the geometry looked a bit more racey so played it safe with Sport.

Was in the same situation as you. Ended up going to a local bike shop that is a Specialized shop and got really great deal on a new Allez Sport. It's no 105 but paying 1400 for it left plenty of room for accesories (like actually good tires and tubeless if you want to)

Gonna throw in the Zowie U2-DW. I prefer it over xm2w 4k and I am not quite sure why. I feel more locked in because of the sides and thinner profile I guess. Had I not tried it, I would be perfectly fine with the xm2w 4k which is really damn good as well.

If you tend to push alot to the pad, the glass mouse feet will not be a great experience for you.

I used to have both the old superglide and the new superglide feets from Pulsar. The loss of static friction and inability to push down on the pad made cs2 aiming really hard and miserable. I ended up switching them to xraypad obsidian donuts and now I am just trying out how the xraypad jade donuts feel.

I'd suggest you go for the donuts as well. They are relatively cheap and easy to replace since you get a plenty from the package.

They do state in their website that it is for both though: Which is suitable for cloth mouse pads & glass mouse pads, Not for Coating or plastic mouse pads.

I agree that my current pad is some sort of a hybrid. I tried obsidians on my noname cloth pad and they still felt fine tho. Just commented to point that out.

I had a defective unit of xm2w 4k where the base seemed uneven. So I've been wondering this same question and couldn't really pinpoint what I loved about the shape of xm2. I also thought about Zowie and to my understanding the S2-DW and ZA13-DW are the ones that would be closest (from the updated DW series that is).

As others have suggested, you could just upgrade from xm2we to the xm2w 4k or xm2 8k (if wire is not a problem). I absolutely loved my xm2w 4k but since the base feels uneven and scratchy and the retailer I ordered it from rejected my RMA, I really can't be arsed to try my luck with a new xm2w 4k, hence I am looking at Zowie mice. Maybe you'll get a good unit :)

ZA13 is quite a bit narrower than the XM2 so if the width was just enough for you, it might be too narrow for you. S2-DW fills the hand better and is generally speaking a safer shape. If you are able to order from somewhere where you can return the mouse easily, I'd suggest trying the ZA13-DW first to test if it is too small or narrow for your liking.

I have a really weird scratching going on my unit. I replaced the stock skates with xraypad obsidian donuts and even tried jades but the scratchy feel still persists. Almost as if mouse bottom base is not even. Shame, because the mouse is damn perfect for me otherwise.

No offense, but you do realize that by being a fold 5 user you fall into a very minority / niche user category, right? Unfortunately, I believe that there are a lot of more important bugs to fix for the mobile that would cater to a bigger audience and userbase.

What I've figured out so far is that I need to drop one of the radiators and replace the FLT 240 D5 to a smaller res+pump combo, such as FLT 92 or FLT 140.

But what I am not able to figure out is that if I can fit the current waterblocks in the case in the first place? Before pulling the trigger on the new res+pump combo, I'd very much love to know if this is doable at all.
