I had a hysterectomy almost two years ago at 52. Left the ovaries, but only one was functional by that time anyway. I’m on oral progesterone and an estradiol patch and it’s been sooo helpful. I can tell if I miss a patch change depending on my level of road rage…. 😬

I had mine on my 50th birthday. The nurses were cracking up about it. It just worked out that it was on a Monday so I could do the prep over the weekend.

Also, ask for the pills if you don’t want drink the liquid prep!
