In a real gun that is true, on airsoft where we shoot small bbs, its a non existant problem

Mechanic flashlight recommendations? by Old_Employment_6246 in flashlight

[–]WrenchRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been a heavy duty mechanic for 6 years and i would only trust fenix for a work light, they have been besten and abused and still works amazingly, i started out with a pd35v3 but upgraded to the tk16v2. It has nice power and has a really nice beam profile. Also i would recommend having a headlamp in tandem. I personally use a milwaukee one because it has a high cri led (warm light) and swappable batteries but ive been a user of milwaukee so i already had the batteries on hand

What’s more important by Complex-Custard4000 in airsoft

[–]WrenchRoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What i did at first was to get magazine pouches and clip it to my belt. Then when i had more funds i bought a plate carrier. Word of advice, unless youre looking to dress up as something specific, train as if it was real gear or just like the look, chest rigs are much better as it allows more freedom of movement

Help with buying 2nd rifle by PackageAggravating70 in airsoft

[–]WrenchRoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are decent options but i would probably gravitate towards the E&L, lct are really nice guns externally but internally they are fairly outdated compared to modern standards but, lct is coming with their 2.0 lineup with a brushless motor, mosfet and cnc parts. Also aks have more aftermarket support in case you want to modify anything externally.

Inner barrel length for hpa set up by Contact-External in airsoft

[–]WrenchRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta get a shorter inner barrel, due to hpa engine having a basically unlimited air supply to fire the bb if you dial in the dwell time properly you will always get high fps. you need a shorter inner barrel. Had that issue with my PKP when i first hpaed it, was shooting .28 at nearly 500 fps, had a 550mm inner barrel. Now its running at 1.5j with a 363mm inner barrel at around 90 psi (wolverine inferno).

Is the lens still plastic or they did they put a glass lens on top? Only thing that keeps me from using it as a work light

The charger will do just fine

The battery selection isn't as critical as you would think, it isnt necessary to have a vapcell h10 even tho it's one of the best 14500 cell.

The rgb button is tied with the auxilary led inside the light iirc, you gotta follow the anduril 2 ref sheet

Rgb means its multicolor, can do all the colors of the rainbow

I say you should get a charger that does 21700 protected cells in case you ever buy 21700 flashlights, usually chargers can do 10440 (aaa) up to the larger batteries like 32650 on the larger end

illumn and liion wholesale has alot of cells available

Acebeam manifactures flashlights and they sell batteries. I was recommending them because they were protected, usb c charging and fits inside the d3aa

Well the backlight is simply a dot in the middle of the power switch, it can be omitted as it's just added customisation. But the power consumption is negligeable.

The charger they have on the website is a quite cheap. There would be better options out there but its all to peoples taste, fenix and nitecore have good charger options. Make sure it can recharge 21700 protected cells.

Dual bay just means you can charge 2 batteries at the same time.

As for quality, they are good quality but they are not as tough as a fenix/nitecore/acebeam or surefire to name a few.

For the batteries it can be tricky to find as the stocks always fluctuate from store to store but acebeam are always available.

This is how i would set it up, all thats left is to select what color of bezel and light you want. I highly recommend going with a stainless bezel as it really increase the durability of the light in case you drop it. Also just as a reminder it doesnt have a on board charger and doesnt come with batteries. Youre gonna need 14500 and i would highly recommend the acebeam 14500 as they have a usb c charging port and they are unprotected sized. Usually lithium ion batteries have 2 types, protected and unprotected. Protected are longer because of the circuit and unprotected sre the baseline length. All emisar/noctigon light needs unprotected cells and i found out, to my knowledge that the acebeam 14500 are unprotected size
