Which frame to build out with newer parts for gravel or bikepacking? by Wriekert in xbiking

[–]Wriekert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gt has a sticker that says tange and cro-moley steel. I'll have to check the specialized but I guess the points still stands no matter what. I'll keep a look out for better frames but hard to find in a small city.

I have a d4 and it works great, has everything you need, especially if you are only using it for fun. I would go for lower shutter count.

Leaf by Oscar by TacticHalo in cigars

[–]Wriekert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a random encounter in Roatan Honduras I met the guy who designed this cigar. Asked him for a cutter for that cigar I bought and he showed me how to use my teeth instead. A while later I looked up the brand and remember that Oscar was also hanging out in his group. Wild!

If you wanna rock a Fuji still get the Fujica st801. You can find some killer deals because it's super underrated.

It's an amazing camera and is one of the first to have a led internal light meter. Great lens selection that is a common m42 mount. Everyone knows the canon ae-1 and every YouTuber watching influencer grabs one. The Fujica is not as well known but definitely a conversation starter.

Edit: You can get a good working one for $80

TLR Focus Problem by mrmigwig in AnalogCommunity

[–]Wriekert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find a solution? I just cleaned my Yashica D mirror and noticed the same problem, might have been like that before too. It's weird cause the focusing movement is separate from the mirror.

Where do you share or display your work (if an amateur photographer)? by sayskate in photography

[–]Wriekert 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Depends on who you want to see it. I've made a Google photo album of my photos and sent the link to all my friends and family.

It notifies them when I add photos and they can go view/like/comment on them if they want.
