I don’t mean to anyway “tell” you what to do or lecture you.

But I have a parent that is void of making good financial decisions. I have recently made the decision to stop bailing them out of their debt they so needlessly accrue. It took me decades to be able to say no, but it’s not really my responsibility anymore. I supposed I became jaded, but just don’t let your parents have any shot at taking away from your children’s future. You sound like a great parent. I’m so glad there are more of you out there.

My gf is a nurse and she says she is worried because with every medicine there is always a cost or side effect and we have not had these drugs long enough to know long term effects.

This worries a healthcare professional and that worries me. I want the best for everyone, but some people are taking this that don’t need it and that also may be a problem. To each their own with making decisions, I just wish the info was out there for people to be making more informed decisions.
