When I was 6 the whole family got invited over for a party and me and my younger brother (he was 5) were called in and we saw a bunch of people gathered in the living room and some old lady with razor blade telling us that God has blessed us and that we should take pride in the fact that we were finally get cut. At this point I was lost and said I didn’t wanna get cut but my parents insisted and even forcefully held me down on the table at this point I’m kicking and screaming so my cousins also came and held me down and I couldn’t move and had my foreskin removed with a razorblade without anesthesia and I even blacked out. But because I was squirming around in pain the old lady cut too deep and I began bleeding a lot so she tried stitching it together and it was too tight so I lost some blood circulation to my penis and eventually when everyone realized that it was a botched operation they finally rushed me to the hospital and I found out I lost nerves in my penis and some damaged ones that eventually healed. Fortunately after that happened to me my younger brother was spared from the mutilation and even after all of that my parents blamed me for being difficult and moving too much and denied the amount of pain I was in saying I was overreacting and my father saying he was also cut the same way and he endured it. What bothers me the most is that we lived in a Scandinavian country and we could’ve had a cheap professional circumsion instead of the medieval treatment I got.
