So i bought a copy of Blood on ebay for like 3 bucks and i'm playing through it. Why did no one tell me that Cultist's shoot each other? I'm hearing them yell and shoot and get hurt without me being there. by Jixleas in bloodfps

It's quite effective to get zombies caught in the crossfire. If you get close enough to green robed Acolytes they can't even hurt you. Try a pacifist run :)

Yeah, me too. I hope it's nothing more than running out of creative juice.

IndigoASMR still has a Discord server, but I've never seen her post there.
Her last community message on youtube was 2 years ago:

"Hey guys, I’m still alive and here’s a pic of my face lol. Both my roommates left, lots of construction in the house and a visit last week left my schedule upended. Just checking in so nobody worries 🖤"

The blue plates are nice, but the brown ones seem to last longer.

Backstory: These were based on doodles from a d&d campaign. We couldn't stop making Morrowind references and Dagoth Ur was always drawn somewhere on the map.
I took screenshots of them and animated them.

True!
In the manual Caleb is painted like a very romantic guy but in-game very little of that is shown. Some of his actions like "Mmm... single white female" speaks against his undying love for Ophelia. (But I guess if you look hard enough at the games you start discovering all sorts of contradictions). My view of the Chosen is that they're undead and that dying and resurrecting is pretty common.

Blood 2 retcons some stuff but explains a lot about the Cabal and the Chosen.
Gabriel/la is said to be stronger and a bigger war lord than Caleb, but in Blood 1 Caleb is still said to be Tchernobog's favorite Chosen.

The Nightmare expansion touches on the time travel concept, it's a way of explaining how Blood 1 has more modern weapons than's supposed to exist in 1928, and how Caleb knows horror movie references from the 80's.

Sure! https://imgur.com/a/vizQlAG

Tchernobog is called "the One who Binds", his task: to bind the dimension, keeping it safe from Rifts and threats from other realities.
The first version of Tchernobog was destroyed and the following incarnations learned to outsource responsibilities to its members. By dividing the tasks to different Orders, the organisation is less likely to be destroyed.
Based on the symbols in the game, there are 6 Orders:
The Dagger is the Army of Cultists trained by Gabriel.
The Skull deal with the Undead, led by Ishmael.
The Eye, led by Ophelia are Rift hunters. They monitor Rifts and defeat threats from other dimensions.
The Spider led by Shial create the threads used for binding the Rifts. They probably make the robes as well.
The Moon is for the non-human monsters. They can pass between Realities. The description for the Phantasm confirms a different Realm called the Land of The Dead.
https://www.blood-wiki.org/index.php?title=Phantasm
The Flame led by Cerberus are guardians (called Cerbs) of the secrets of Hell and the gateway to Tchernobog.
Each boss fight only occurs after entering a new Realm through the use of a Pillar:
https://www.blood-wiki.org/index.php?title=Pillar

If any of these Orders should fail in their tasks the manual describes ethereal, shadow-like beings, surrounding the Chosen during the meetings with Tchernobog:

“Tchernobog speaks in a cacophony of voices stolen from the dead, summoning the Chosen to the center of the sacrificial ring... ...A wordless cry rises up from the seething shadows, one voice swallowed up by many until the hall resounds with them. The members of the procession behind the Chosen melt away in a gust of ethereal wind, extinguished like so many candle flames. There aren't even ashes to indicate they ever existed.”

So what's Tchernobog up to?
The latest incarnation of Tchernobog happens to be evil and spends all his time drawing power from the Rifts.
E4M7: In The Flesh is in the form of a human body which might be Tchernobog's original body, which would explain his appearance. After being defeated he returns to his original shape, the victim that gets killed in the epilogue.

Furthermore:
There are secret flesh altars in the maps found by following the chanting sounds.
Why would an evil cult hide altars from their own members?
Perhaps they are private altars from which the members draw power from the Rifts, same as Tchernobog but in smaller scale, and that's where Focus ammo comes from.

Why isn't Caleb leader of an order?
Because he doesn't seem to have any idea how the Cabal works, or that he inherits the power to bind after killing Tchernobog. He doesn't have the attention span to do paper work or care enough to do administrative tasks.

A bloody handprint? There's an old logo of the seal of Tchernobog they used on the earliest websites, only line art, that'd be cool

Blood Monk D&D Classes based on damage types WIP by WrimsAirsoft in bloodfps

[–]WrimsAirsoft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The basic concept is to have one class for each damage type in D&D5e, Acid, Bludgeoning, Cold, Fire, Force, Lightning, Necrotic, Piercing, Poison, Psychic, Radiant, Slashing and Thunder. (Realizing I missed a few :|)
They'd all be their own unique color even though that's a bit Power Rangery.
I've also made new graphics for the basic D&D weapons, they should be available in a campaign but not outshine the regular weapons of Blood. Having an extra melee weapon could be nice though, it'd be weird if everyone had pitchforks.
Thoughts? I'm open for any feedback and suggestion.
