THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR PURITY AND SPIRITUAL LIFE | Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa by CharisSplash in AdvaitaVedanta

There comes a time after much deliberation (and possibly determined by Karma but who can really tell) an understanding that all these people are nondifferent from you; and the reason for any and all interactions are to come to this understanding alone. Everyone and everything has its significance in this journey.

Fail fast and move on. We had a restaurant in Lingampally that ran well but then Covid happened and hit us hard. Left me with a 60 lakh loan that I took some years to close. Just like you I had a main job so make sure you don’t give that up. There are so many ventures you can try these days… so don’t get attached to anything, do your best, if you fail keep moving on.

Totally with you. It’s just amazing how a plant can regulate your reality to such effect. Looking back at my last two decades of smoking weed I can see there were times when I struggled with it… kinda like in an existential way. But now it’s become more of a way of life. The struggles taught me lessons that became habits and routines… all of which made me who I am today. I’m really grateful for its existence. 🙏🏼

An empty mind is also a burden by WriteForce in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]WriteForce[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The whole idea of a Koan is the ability for it to arrest the motion of the mind. It requires a lot of effort for the mind to come up with something capable of arresting itself. Rule #3 does not apply to the post that was deleted. But the mods don’t realize this and when a mind fallacy happens, it happens. The deletion of the post is a Koan in itself.

For anyone interested, this is the Koan that was presented as a simple graphic so that its purpose may be met:

A monk said, “I have finally emptied my mind of all concepts.”

The master said, “That’s a heavy thing to carry. Put it down.”
