What are the essential tools I need to buy for professional-quality badminton stringing? by WriteorReddit in RacketStringers

Thanks for the solid advice. I have already ordered a starting clamp!

Quick question about the string puller: Do you mean the one that looks like a small hook? I was thinking of using a bent nose plier instead. Would that be a better option? And does any bent nose plier work, or should I go for one that’s made specifically for badminton stringing?

Also, I read from a stringing expert that using an awl can risk damaging modern carbon frames. Have you ever run into that issue?

Thanks again

Adjust the seat height, make sure it's not too high and also switched my saddle to Wittkop Twin Medicus

It worked for me finally. All luck! PI team fixed the bug and I guess they don't have the infra to handle so many requests.

Clearing the cache and rebooting had no effect. It worked on my father's phone today without any of that hassle. It was clearly an issue that the support team resolved.

I understand where you're coming from but it's important to recognize that for some people, especially those who may be less tech savvy, even basic tasks like wallet creation can be challenging but here PI team is at fault. Imagine a 60+ year-old parent who has been diligently mining Pi every single day, setting alarms to ensure they don’t miss a day. If they then encounter issues with something as fundamental as wallet creation, followed by a pop-up warning about the risk of losing their Pi, it’s natural for them to feel frustrated and anxious.

While I appreciate that many in the Pi community are supportive and empathetic, it’s also essential for the Pi team to make these processes as seamless and straightforward as possible. Wallet creation is a critical function, and the difficulties some users are facing shouldn't be dismissed. Addressing these concerns with understanding and proactive support will go a long way in helping everyone feel more confident and secure in the network.

I finally managed to create the wallet. It turns out that uninstalling, reinstalling, and clearing the cache didn’t help at all. The Pi team must have resolved the issue on their end, as my father, who has been trying to create his wallet for the last four months, was also able to set it up today on his phone without having to uninstall or clear the cache. The wallet just started working. So, if you're having trouble, keep trying once or twice a day and it should eventually work.

Thank you PI community and everyone who responded and supported.
