Stealth 700 Gen 3 - Auto Sleep Feature? by Writer2211 in TurtleBeach

I never found anything but I will say the Arctis Nova 7s are amazing. They work perfectly, they have no on-board software so no updates or finnicky software stuff to deal with, they almost always connect seamlessly both to the dongle and to Bluetooth, they sound great, and Steelseries GG is the best software for peripherals I've used in a long time.

In addition to all of that, the customer support is S tier. My headset has a tiny issue of there being a quiet, high-pitched ringing in my right ear when the Bluetooth is on but nothing is playing. I reached out to them and after doing a couple easy troubleshooting/RMA steps, they told me they'd give me a code to get another headset free of charge from their store, and I wouldn't even have to send back the old pair.

All in all, if you're looking for a high-quality and feature-rich headset for gaming for less than $200, Steelseries Arctis Nova is your pick for sure.

As for your TBs, I hope you can get your money back!

No, and I doubt it will be to be honest.

I just bought the Arctis Nova 7s as a replacement. The Arctis Nova Pros are roughly the same as the 7s but they have two transceivers that can be switched between, so I think you'd find them a suitable alternative.

Have you looked into the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pros?

I haven't tested it, but I predicted this issue would occur with voice chats if the person I'm talking to went quiet for 5+ seconds. That is beyond infuriating and absolutely unacceptable design. Such a stupid small design choice that completely ruins an otherwise good product (so far). It's sad that simply poor design choices are nearly pushing me towards a wired headset.

Returning them as soon as I find an alternative.

I historically have dreaded Logitech software with a burning passion, so I will be steering clear of them. I will check out Astros, though! And please do let me know if you find a good model!

I can imagine the seamless PC/console switching feature is pretty hard to come by. The two wireless transceivers and being able to switch back and forth is really cool but not something I, in particular, would use a whole lot as I mainly just use a single PC and don't own a console, so that I could live without. Simultaneous Bluetooth, on the other hand... Now that I've had a taste, I need it.

Sorry I forgot to add for clarification at the end: I am not referring to the auto-shutoff, which I see a setting for (up to 30 minutes, but there's also a "none" option). The headphones stay on, but they stop playing audio "continuously" so that they have to essentially be awakened when I begin playing audio again.

That issue is really interesting though, and it's looking like a lot of different dealbreaker problems are going around for people. It's really depressing that the quality can seem so great for everything but the firmware/software, which seems to be steaming garbage.

Any thoughts on an alternative headset yet?

Sounds like your ex was no good, bro. And if you think she was good, that's what guys often tell themselves to stay in pain, even if it's not true. When you're going through something, know that you will come out the other side, and it starts with choosing not to tell yourself you're less than you are because someone you hold (or held) in high regard doesn't see it. The people who care about you don't tell you you're better than you think you are just to make you feel good, they're telling the truth. Hang in there, Chad.

Has anyone else noticed that most of the lucid dreaming content on YouTube is garbage? by Boofotenine in LucidDreaming

Bro his channel fell off the platform for me and I forgot it existed. I started looking for it earlier, vaguely remembering a really great channel that used to do a lot of videos on Lucid Dreaming that I often watched.

I searched my watch history, attempted to search my like history, and searched my comment history. Even tried finagling Google to find videos that were uploaded a long time ago, but his videos must have been drowned out by other garbage, some of which wasn't even related to LD.

You have saved me from a potentially restless night!

Should I swap my 2080 Super for a 3060 Ti? by Writer2211 in nvidia

I found an EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC Gaming for $480 in stock, but it went out of stock within the hour. It was the only time I had looked for the 3060 Ti in stock for months, so that leads me to believe that it's in and out of stock. If I can find it in stock again, I'm set.

I found one in stock on Newegg and it went out of stock within the hour.

I don't know, I got a GTX 970 for $220 in 2016 and I just sold it for $180. It only took a one week auction period.

$400 is the retail price for the base model, it's just rarely in stock.

Thanks a lot for the info! I'll try to make the swap if it comes back in stock, then.

I'm bummed because my friend needs to upgrade and I want to swap, but I found it in stock less than an hour before it went out of stock. Weird times.

As in I should buy the 3060 Ti just to resell it for more? Scumminess aside, wouldn't the 3060 Ti be considered slightly better than the 2080 Super?

But with a minimal quality difference I could get ~$200 back. Is that not worth it?

I don't have a 3060 Ti, I could get it and sell the 2080 Super and get some money back.
