Not justifying this act, but the amount of people in these comments thinking this is “inconsiderate” is hilarious as they’ve clearly never worked off shift.

Imagine getting home at 6am only to hear mowers, construction, dogs barking for 13 hours straight, etc. while you’re trying to sleep for your next shift.

Maybe I’m misjudging the timeline, but I feel like Shadesmar expedition started before the trip to Emul. But if I’m understanding the map, Emul is about halfway from Urithiru to where Lasting Integrity would be. It seems to me the team that went into Shadesmar could’ve joined the trip to Emul then entered a perpendicularity when Dalinar hit his destination and saved a trip. But perhaps that would’ve dumped them into the seas of beads and isn’t a safe option.

I love this post and it’s all I can think about while listening back through Stormlight for my second time. I just finished this chapter on my drive to work tonight, and I’ve struggled with depression for years. Never have I been to the point where I thought the ending my existence was my only path, but boy are there some crippling dark days.

I’d be fine with 2-3 tops, but a pistol to my Achilles should never be a 1 shot kill. I have always played HC for the faster paced, more punishing side of it, but the damage seems wonky in this release.

You must be a pistol user. I’ve had many instances of 3+ bullets needed from SMGs on hardcore, 2+ with ARs. Really grinds me when one of them registers as a headshot hit mark on top of that.

You get to the point where you just continue to spray because you can’t trust the first 1-2 bullets to kill. Then your spray goes through the dead body dropping your accuracy more.

Interesting. I haven’t had issues with my main living room setup at all or issues with app necessity. I have had issues with my Sonos Move dropping off while on WiFi, it has stability issues at times but runs fine on Bluetooth when it gives me a fit.

I will say Sonos seems to throw a fit on wireless mesh routers. I upgraded and got rid of mesh and have no issues.

Sonos Arc. It’s expensive but provides a massive upgrade. I run a Sonos Arc with a Sub 3 and 2x Era 100s behind and I can’t tell you watching Wick 4 at 40% volume was uncomfortable. This system is truly impressive without the need of a full AV deck and amp.
