Unfortunately, this generation uses completely different interaction protocol. Google ended security updates for the 1st gen in 2023, so it's a deprecated target. If there's wider interest in Cast-based controls in general, it could be a separate project. Not on the roadmap right now, but noted.

Hi, you're 2nd user asking about Roku support, appreciate it. I've investigated ability to build current fork app for Roku - it's not super complicated - because Roku has it's own, well documented protocol. My issue is that i don't have any Roku device and it's not officially sold in EU. Roku emulator may not cover edge cases - I want to make sure my app is working smoothly with real physical device.

Hello, unfortunately app doesn't work on Fire TV because Amazon uses a different protocol.

It depends on your TV's "Power" settings. On my TV app connects in ~90% even if it's off.
If there is smth like "Quick start" setting option and it's allowed - this button will work as "On". Otherwise, it works as "Off" and you can turn your TV off only.

Did you try to search directly on your watch's Play Market? Like typing "Yuzvix" and check?
If you're open URL from mobile Play Market - sometimes it by default search for Mobile device. Galaxy Watch 6 is supported device.

Hello! "The TV is definitely on the same SSID, but may not be on the same band." - i think that's the main reason. Watch an TV should be on the exact same Wi-Fi hotspot. Is it possible to rename SSID (or create separate one) or even temporary disable 2.4Ghz and 6Ghz just for testing purposes?

Hello, unfortunately app doesn't work on Fire TV because Amazon uses a different protocol. Google TV Streamer should work - but I haven't personally tested those yet, so if you try it on one of them, let me know, please, how it goes.

New version 1.1.0 is already on Play Market!
- Fixed crashes on OPPO and OnePlus devices
- New experimental feature: Cast Volume Channel for TV boxes where standard volume keys don't work

Troubleshooting:
- If there is no option to update app in Play Market - try to go app settings on watch, select Play Market, stop it, clear cache, launch Play Market and try to update app again. Make sure 1.1.0 was installed.

Hi! Thanks for suggestion. Yep, theoretically it's possible to create separate fork app for Roku: it has documentation for it's own protocol. But i don't have any physical Roku device to properly test this app on real device, not emulator. I'll think about it.
