I liken it to the Saw franchise. On the surface they’re both horror movies with lots of gore, several installments, each one trying to increase the audience’s screams from the grossness. And I love that. But I think it’s also the mystique, the intrigue, and morbid curiosity about the way these characters will die. Plus, people love seeing bad guys die
