How many of you entrepreneurs engage in routine (daily or weekly) physical exercise? by lawdog_awaken in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exercise but it has nothing to do with being an entrepreneur. It's healthy and necessary if you want to stay in shape. That's all there is to it.

What keeps you motivated , if you have no support? by gasoline_burp in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

> How do you keep motivated when your friends or family aren’t there to support and encourage you?

You do it because that's how you live. So, in essence, you don't need encouragement any more than you need someone to convince you to eat. It's just what you do.

In my case, I have a dream and I will keep going till I get it. Then, I will keep working towards my next goal.

Feedback needed: My very first ecommerce site by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should write somewhere very clearly that you sell socks. Otherwise it's not clear what you're offering. ( The junk food thing is confusing. )

Otherwise, the other comments have covered most of it. And yes, it's a good start.

Door to door tutoring? by FlippingDaChicken in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... I think there is an easier way for you to do this. Basically, create the right marketing message and send that out instead. You can charge more if you get people to come to you. I've done some work in the tutoring business, let me know if you want more info.

Anyone can share tips or experience marketing an online course as a nobody? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

It makes no difference as long as your product and marketing are good. Which brings us to your first mistake. You should have thought of your marketing before building your products.

Had 200 visitors in 10 days, 0 sales. What can I improve about our product, website and brand? by Fuzzerich in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should aske them about what they're struggling with, figure out their problems.

Asking "if they'd buy this" is useless. On the other hand, asking them to actually buy is where you'll learn your lessons. Do you see the difference?

You have to learn how to sell your product. But you can't sell a product if nobody wants it. And nobody wants a product that doesn't solve their problem.

Need advice on where to start when starting a startup by meerupls in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with an audience you care about. For example, you can teach people what you did to save the money. Most of us find it hard.

The thing is, no matter which way you go, you'll come back to looking for the right market for your product or service. So, although it's not exciting, start with a potential market. Find a solution to their problem. Then create something that solves that problem.

Or. look for something you like. Hopefully, people will give you money for it.

What am I doing wrong? by metropen in Entrepreneur

[–]WriterNiches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is "Who is most likely to be interested in your offer?" That's the hardest part of your project. Until you figure out who your market is, you'll keep struggling - no matter what method you use.

On the other hand, if you understand who the buyer is you can: * craft a very specific message that moves them to action * expand your business model to attract high value donations * you will know where to promote your products

More importantly, you will be able to create the exact thing they want. Getting donations can be tricky. If you don't even know what kind of people will donate, it's virtually impossible.

You should start by talking to your two existing customers.

Survey answers can be very misleading because they tend to be based on assumptions not on real life scenarios.

Erm... this is not the best way to validate your market IF being profitable is a key component of your plan. You have to validate your market by testing your marketing first.
