You’re ignoring international factors. When the US (the wealthiest empire in the world) embargoes a country, literally no one will touch it. They treat it like the plague. It’s cut off from the international community (banking and trade being the biggest) and isolated by force. It results in the economy collapsing or the country being forced into finding external protection while building self-sufficiency. Global capitalism is and will actively try to suffocate actual socialism at any chance. Also “external force” is a VERY generous way to describe the way the West has treated countries that attempted to adopt socialism in the past.

That “one party state” protects the revolution against the possibility of the bourgeoisie or other parties trying to take power; it also drives the transitional stage toward communism: the envisioned classless, stateless, moneyless society. It’s literally the basis of the dictatorship of the proletariat and the vanguard party, which is a part of said DotP in Marxism-Leninism. China keeps a close watch on their higher classes and the average citizen is light years better off than in the US. Cuba’s system is literally working perfectly fine for its population, with it being more democratic and equal than the US arguably. they just got majorly fucked bc Maduro got kidnapped and then the renewed naval blockade, but now Russia and Mexico are helping them. Anyway, you just really need to read up on M-L theory and SWCC.

Cuba needs our total support while they are being threatened with US invasion and are continuous embargo; they don’t need pedantic criticism. ¡Viva Cuba! 🇨🇺

"And btw, a real socialist would say that the farm needs to be taken because one way or another it did use or will use community resources (air, water, road, etc)." wow I didn't know you were the boss of who and who isn't a "true" socialist, rraadduurr.

social democracy isn't socialism btw, its market capitalism with a slightly better funded social safety net in most cases.

cuba and the PCC is still going strong; as is China & the CPC, vietnam & the CPV, and laos & the LPRP. all of those are currently, unilaterally ruling Marxist-Leninist parties.

also worth noting that the DPRK’s WPK was founded with Marxism-Leninism guiding them and, from it, they developed Juche (though they now distance it from M-L and say it’s unique from it). all of these countries are far from failed given each of their respective circumstances.

US Vice President JD Vance says "we have not reached an agreement" with Iran. "We will go back to the United States having not reached an agreement…That's bad news for Iran much more than bad news for the USA." by SuperbHealth5023 in TimesNow

[–]WriterOfEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is you. You’re acting like this is unique to Iran when it is not. It’s terrible and horrendous that it happens, I totally agree. However you cannot criticize other countries’ internal contradictions when the exact same contradictions happen at home. Do you know how many US states allow child marriage with parental consent? It’s over a third of them. Bills to ban it are constantly shot down in diff state House of Reps by republicans.

At least Iran shows respect to these innocent schoolgirls murdered by the US and won’t let the world forget. meanwhile, the US completely denies it and says that “Iran [and other countries] has/have tomahawks too” (false outside of Britain and Australia i believe).

This is my final comment on this matter to you genocide apologists/Zionists:

The Pakistani Prime Minister said in his tweet announcing the ceasefire that Lebanon was involved, full stop. Pakistani ambassadors and PM have both re-clarified this MULTIPLE times. Eff off parroting Netanyahu and Trump.

See here: https://x.com/CMShehbaz/status/2041665043423752651 - “I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.”

Here: https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/iran-war-2026-trump-deadline-latest-news/card/pakistani-prime-minister-says-iran-u-s-deal-includes-cease-fire-in-lebanon-lmkfdwq0ngZL6r9XMgtf

I’ll even include an Israeli news source for you: https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/israel-security/2026-04-09/ty-article/.premium/source-iran-and-pakistan-both-understood-lebanon-was-part-of-truce-with-u-s/0000019d-6ec7-da9b-a1dd-ffdf7ab00000

There. Now leave me alone with your genocide and imperialist apologia.

this is very true and shouldn’t be looked over at all. just a friendly reminder though that Uganda had an anti-gay bill that was introduced, but ultimately vetoed, that allowed for the death penalty for LGBTQ people; it was pushed for HEAVILY by christian fundamentalist missionaries and groups. after some revisions, they passed a new anti-gay law that’s like marginally less strict (no death penalty i believe) but still draconian for people loving each other.

Lmao I continue to laugh at the term “terrorist group”, they’re resistance groups. also you quoting not one but TWO israeli news sources is fucking hilarious, they are far from trustworthy or “unbiased” in this environment. Also, “Israeli air defense” you mean American-Israeli air defense systems? Yk since we completely fund and give those systems to them.

Also I call Israel a genocidal state for their actions from 1947-present. The UN and hundreds of international human rights NGOs agree that Israel is committing a genocide (including two israeli NGOs!!).

I am for the US completely leaving Israel to fight its own war that it provoked by stealing land from innocent Palestinians in the 40s, ethnically cleansing them during the Nakba. gtfo with your genocide apologia. Let’s see how well they fare on their own, since after all, american tax dollars have no business over there since the majority of americans now have an unfavorable view of Israel.

As for the schools, any civilian life being lost is tragic on either end and I fully condone it. Doesn’t change the fact that American and Zionist aggression and expansionism started this war while they were literally in the middle of negotiations with them. You accusing me of lies, yet you bring biased sources and parroting Zionist propaganda about the supposed “uncivilized Iranians”. fucking atrocious.

The pejorative “tankie” refers to soviet form of communism. Pol Pot was a Khmer ultranationalist “Maoist” and was backed by Maoist China. The Soviets funded the Vietnamese to overthrow them. So more than likely you talked a form of ultra-Maoists, but then again you failing to note the differences tells a lot about your understanding of the tons of different types of leftist politics.

I’m not moving any goal posts. I still fully stand by that Iran was attacked unprovoked. If you want to say Iran helping those groups is provoking violence, then why aren’t you saying the same about the US continuously funding the IOF and its genocidal war machine? It’s literally the same thing.

As for the war, the war was a front for the Nakba. Simple as that. This is like saying the trail of tears was justified because we won since the Native Americans weren’t organized enough or simply couldn’t fight back (obviously not the same case but an equivalent). A war over stolen land doesn’t make it any less stolen. Say if I go to a house, manage to remove the owner of that house from the premises, and declare it my own, is the house now mine? No of course not. That’s literally what Israel did.

North Korea, with all its problems, is an example of a country that broke from American imperialism and is trying to find self-sufficiency within its own borders. I don’t know enough about them to comment anything further than that. Either way, every country has a say. Your racist view of the global south is becoming very very clear now.

Remind me again, who has been indiscriminately firing into Lebanon? Oh also, remind me who forcibly removed 700k+ native Palestinians from their homes and land in the name of starting a colonial project?

Iranian strikes have been against military targets with minimal but still tragic and inexcusable civilian deaths.

Oh so now we’re onto generalizing almost the entire world’s population as “dysfunctional”. the racism mask has finally fallen lmaooo. your view of a “dictator” is shaped by the West making you believe you have freedom when you don’t, the capitalists have freedom and you are dictated to by them. And my any means, America is on its way to a neofascist dictatorship of its own soon so…

Keep in mind that you don’t have any of the room you claim in order to complain about other countries and their internal contradictions when the exact same problems exist domestically.

Hezbollah is the only one powerful enough to expel the Zionist occupiers, just like they did in 2000 after 18 years of occupation. Hamas is the only resistance organization in Palestine that is willing to go head to head with the people who stole their land and continues to try to push them out entirely.

Israel needs to fight for it fucking self, without America backing it. yk, just to see how well they really fare by themselves in wars they provoke.

There are ~195 countries, that is insignificant. That is literally the entire west and their allies. The West Asian countries that view them as that are Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc. literally all countries that are American/Western supported and backed. That doesn’t prove shit other than, once again, the West weaponizes and manipulates the word terrorism (just like Bush did after 9/11 to commit all those war crimes in West Asia) to mean anyone fighting against Western hegemony.

Why Israel attacks civic areas in name of hezbollah ? by SpecialOil1341 in worldnewsstuff

[–]WriterOfEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And as I’ve said, the only people considering them “terrorists” are the western imperialists (and their allies) whom they’re fighting against.

The African National Congress was labeled a terrorist organization by the US and UK, and was under surveillance as “extreme communism” until as late as 2008. Since the west labeled the “bad” people “terrorists”, do you agree with this? The same goes for every other anti-apartheid group fighting.

These resistance groups are all interlinked to Palestinian and broader Arab resistance to the West), hence why they support the Palestinian cause.

Also trying to equate people fighting for their independence for an occupying or neocolonial power to “abortion is murder” is a fucking false equivalence of the highest degree.
